A 1986 Vixen 21 (#107) pusher Motorhome, a BMW, 6 cylinder, 524 Turbo Diesel, 2.4 Liter Engine (M20) with 30,492 original miles. It gets 30 mpg! Normally BMW motors are good for 600,000 miles. It has a 5 speed manual transmission, power brakes, power steering, battery boost, AM/FM cassette player, speakers, monitor/control panel, range-hood and fan, fire extinguisher, shower sump pump, spare tire in front trunk, extra storage under bed with trap door in front step before the bed. Also lots of extra storage under kitchen counter with slide doors. I had installed all the original upgrades that were available in 1999 from the factory in Mechanicsville, Iowa who acquired all the parts, etc from the original factory in Pontiac, Michigan (Upgrades: 1st and 2nd lower gear transmission upgrade, rear secure straps upgrade, a new $1100 fuel injection pump (in 2005) and a fabulous upgrade with a water spray mist system that you can toggle on and off to cool radiator down while going up steep mountains! It taps into the fresh water tank and works great!) I have kept very good and complete records/receipts of everything that has been upgraded or done to this Vixen 21. There's a standard sized double bed across the rear end with emergency exit rear window. It now has a fabulous new $1200 mattress with memory foam. I installed 2 extra reading lights above bed. I meticulously glued lovely red paisley Italian Throws to all white boring walls. Also, new hunter green Levolor blinds throughout. I also installed 2 separate magazine racks, one by rear bed (4 slot) and the other (6 slot) behind the dinette seat by main door. A 4 seat dinette is created by flipping the front passenger seat; or both dinette seats fold down to create an extra bed. There's also a full length mirror inside closet door. A 1200 watt Heart Inverter provides the Vixen with 110 volt power from the 2 deep cycle storage batteries when not connected to the AC house current. The deep cycle storage batteries are charged by the inverter featuring a 50 amp three-step charging cycle. Just installed a brand new $1100 (2013) Norcold AC/DC refrigerator/freezer with LED light that operates either on 12V DC or 110AC power. Above the refrigerator is a cabinet that I used for VCRs, satellite/cable box, etc. But, you could fit a microwave in there instead, if desired. Also there's a Duo-Therm 110V AC powered or generator powered, split air conditioner. Half is under the dinette and the other half is under the closet. Plus there's also a front dash air conditioner which is powered by the engine. There's a 25 gallon freshwater tank, an 18 gallon gray water tank, a 12 gallon black water tank and a 23 gallon diesel fuel tank. Under the kitchen sink is an engine hot water heater for sink and shower. I also have all the original manuals for the Vixen 21 TD, the 'Maintenance Schedule' manual (very detailed user instructions with pictures that describes everything one needs to do or how to operate) and the extensive 'Engine Repair' manual for the BMW 524 Turbo Diesel 2.4 Liter M20. The black water dump connector and the grey water connector valves are behind the left rear body exterior panel. The roof is hinged along the right side and is raised by a high quality pneumatic gas strut. This Vixen also has a new clutch and new glow plugs. It also has a tilt wheel, a telescopic steering column and cruise control. There's a beautiful custom bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. It has grey Berber carpet. The automatic electric push button roof raiser increases the headroom to 6'6", plus the windows at each end of the raised roof open and have screens for great ventilation. There's also a boomerang shaped Tv antenna on rear exterior roof. This Vixen is a very lightweight and aerodynamically designed RV with very low wind noise and with a low center of gravity. It just glides down the road. Unlike larger RVs, which is like driving a huge box down the road. The under carriage of the vehicle is almost completely covered and  has a wide wheel base. This Vixen fits nicely into most standard garages. The Vixen is approximately 22' long. It is also smoke free and pet free. So, feel free to contact me anytime by phone or text.
