This bus has been in our family for 26 years. My late brother-in-law bought this unit and oversaw the luxury conversion by B&B Coach Works, formerly of Garden Grove, CA in 1986-1988. Originally a 1969 model 07 Eagle bus, the conversion included installation of an 8V92 Detroit engine with an Allison Automatic HT740 4 speed transmission. It has air brakes but is registered as a motor home so there is no need for a commercial driver’s license. The leveling system is a Quadra Eze independent system, and there is a bank of 12 6-volt batteries to supply a Pure Sine Wave inverter/charger (Magnum 24). All the power needed for the coach is supplied by a 12K Kubota generator, and it is plumbed for a washer/dryer. Fresh water capacity of 150 gallons is matched by 150 gallons of sewage capacity. The interior was designed by my sister and all work done by professionals, including a master craftsman cabinet maker; interior wood is all teak. The kitchen features an all-electric stove, a house style refrigerator, garbage disposal and a microwave. The spacious bathroom features a full stand up shower and a porcelain toilet. There are lots of hanging closets, and spacious storage surrounds a full Queen-sized bed in the bedroom. Driving of this unit is very easy and smooth – it is a pleasure to drive. There is plenty of power and it is very smooth on the road with excellent visibility. You are welcome to come and inspect the bus and drive it before you bid; I am in Northern California, close to Sacramento. Change to listing on E Bay.
