Up for your consideration is a very clean 2011 Showhauler Garage Motorhome. Showhauler is know for a complete custom Super C Motorhome built on Class 8 Truck Chassis. Each Showhauler is built to customer specs and rarely will you ever see 2 units the same. Showhauler's frame work is a totally tubular steel frame which is the safest in the industry. Additionally Showhauler has the highest resale in the Rv industry.This unit is very unique in that it was built on a Non-Emission Diesel Motor. The truck itself was a leftover 2007 Freightliner Columbia that was ordered for RV use prior to the financial crash in 2008. The unit was started in 2010 and was completed in late 2010. If you will recall the state of the economy in 2008-2010, not many new RVs were produced. In fact many RV companies went bankrupt. I can tell you from experience, the older diesel motors were far less problematic. There are NO sensors in the exhaust system to fail, NO filters to trap exhaust particulates, and NO pesky exhaust fluids to keep up with. The motor itself is a 450HP/1550 FT/LBS Torque 12.8L Mercedes Diesel which was produced by Detroit Diesel and Mercedes. It is mated to a 10 Speed Eaton/Fuller Automatic Transmission.We have sold several garage units this summer and they generally sell very fast. This unit has a smaller garage which is best suited for a Motorcycle or used for general storage, at just over 7ft in length, I don't believe you can put any type of ATV in the rear of this coach. It does have a dedicated bedroom with queen bed along with a decent sized living area and large aisle bathroom. The coach left the factory without any furniture in the slide-out and without TV in the living area. Yes, it measures a full 46ft in length, but the extra foot in length is a small price to pay make the rear of the coach more user friendly.When it came to picking out colors, we wanted to deviate from the traditional tans, but not go too modern with the darker cabinets and grey upholstery. I am extremely happy with the introduction of combining these typically two different colors to provide a very rich feel and yet something seldom seen on coach interiors. It features Ebony Maple Cabinets throughout and all drawers are dove tail design with soft close drawer glides. All of the upper walls and ceiling are Soft Touch Ivory in color while the lower walls are a Natural Reed wallboard which is tan/brown color. The Countertops are Venetian Gold Granite which has hints of tans and greys. All of the floors are Ceramic Tile which looks like wood plank flooring. Each shower is tiled and has a strip of glass tile that matches the back splashes, the tile Rapture Passion which has hints of tans and greys, but the accent is more grey.This coach is riding on a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia and is powered by a Cummins ISX Motor which puts out 600HP and 1850 Ft/lbs or torque. Mated to the Cummins a 13 Speed Automatic Transmission that is effortless to drive. I feel this is ultimate combination as Freightliner has the largest dealer network in the county and they have all had a long standing relationship with the RV community. Additionally Cummins and Eaton can be serviced and warrantied at almost any major truck dealership. I feel the Cascadia is the quietest cab available and with new features like projection headlamps and all LED lighting, it is a breeze to drive.We wanted to mimic a high end coach and in keeping with the higher end motorhomes, many options were added. First, all baggage doors are side mounted which is much easier to enter the compartments, but also a complete keyless entry system was added to all exterior doors including the side entry door. We went a step further and integrated this into the cab doors as well. No matter if you are using the door mounted keypad or a wireless keyfob, entry into the coach or cab is simple.
