Up for your consideration is a beautiful 2017 Showhauler Motorhome that is loaded with options. If you are looking at buying a Class 8 Truck Chassis Motorhome, this is sure to appeal to young and old RVers alike. It is equipped with 2 Full Baths, a King Bed, and Bunk Beds. Not only is this a great Motorhome for families and guest, it is great for entertainment. We made small changes to the floor plan to accommodate a larger rear bath and the king bed, which is my biggest complaint with all of the 2 bath bunk model coaches. Yes, it measures a full 46ft in length, but the extra foot in length is a small price to pay make the rear of the coach more user friendly.When it came to picking out colors, we wanted to deviate from the traditional tans, but not go too modern with the darker cabinets and grey upholstery. I am extremely happy with the introduction of combining these typically two different colors to provide a very rich feel and yet something seldom seen on coach interiors. It features Ebony Maple Cabinets throughout and all drawers are dove tail design with soft close drawer glides. All of the upper walls and ceiling are Soft Touch Ivory in color while the lower walls are a Natural Reed wallboard which is tan/brown color. The Countertops are Venetian Gold Granite which has hints of tans and greys. All of the floors are Ceramic Tile which looks like wood plank flooring. Each shower is tiled and has a strip of glass tile that matches the back splashes, the tile Rapture Passion which has hints of tans and greys, but the accent is more grey.This coach is riding on a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia and is powered by a Cummins ISX Motor which puts out 600HP and 1850 Ft/lbs or torque. Mated to the Cummins a 13 Speed Automatic Transmission that is effortless to drive. I feel this is ultimate combination as Freightliner has the largest dealer network in the county and they have all had a long standing relationship with the RV community. Additionally Cummins and Eaton can be serviced and warrantied at almost any major truck dealership. I feel the Cascadia is the quietest cab available and with new features like projection headlamps and all LED lighting, it is a breeze to drive.We wanted to mimic a high end coach and in keeping with the higher end motorhomes, many options were added. First, all baggage doors are side mounted which is much easier to enter the compartments, but also a complete keyless entry system was added to all exterior doors including the side entry door. We went a step further and integrated this into the cab doors as well. No matter if you are using the door mounted keypad or a wireless keyfob, entry into the coach or cab is simple. Second, starting about a decade ago when many bus converters went to roof top air conditioning units, the discerning buyers didn't like the look of these additions to their roofs.
