2008 Dutchmen Tada , For Sale by Owner: 2008 TADA TXL (T, South Carolina (Halfway between Savannah and Charleston) Price: $12,000 Condition: Used - Good Condition - Showing Signs of Wear in Places - Ready to go Camping again! Information: Purchased used in 2014 for recreational family use. Our family has outgrown the camper. Doubles as an excellent visitor bedroom and is attractive enough to park in your driveway. Includes awning, cover, and attachments. Designed to sleep 3 adults. We actually slept a family of 5 in it using a portable massage table from in the walkway with the kids on the main bed. Tows easy and smooth! Fully loaded is 3,300 lbs. Can be towed with any SUV, Minivan, or Truck rated for 3,500 lbs. You do need a hitch and brake controller installed to pull it. Having a personal potty on wheels when travelling is very nice, makes rest stops fast and not gross. Also, if travelling overnight, you can just pull into any safe place to park and catch some sleep, no need for hotels/motels. Small size is a big plus. The interior: We sustained some interior damage from being a messy family. There are scuffs and discolorations throughout the inside upon close inspection. The chipboard by the sink and the bathroom entry have had expansion from water damage. I have removed and replaced damaged wood and installed a kickplate. Also, the old brittle caulking was partially to blame for seepage, so i pulled that out and put in new white silicone caulking (the best stuff) it the bathroom. The floor feels soft in some places, but it is dry and stable and there are no leaks in the camper, so this is probably warping of the plywood between the linoleum and the fiberglass bottom. This is a well built trailer and we have done our best to maintain it. The mattress is not pictured because a new one has been ordered and is in shipment. The exterior: We actually drove through an overhang with mismarked clearance and ripped off the fan port window and had that replaced with a new fan and window at a repair shop, so the fan is pretty new. The battery is old and could be replaced, but its not critical. There is some surface rust showing on the frame, not critical, but ready for some elbow grease and enamel. The decals were removed by previous owners, so it presents clean, but when you look at an angle, you can see the decal ghosts. The mechanics are all in working order. I have had the wheel bearings serviced annually. I recommend that unless you are a trailer mechanic, you find a shop you can trust to service your vehicle. Ours hooked us up with a metal bracket for our license plate after we broke the plastic tabs the second time. Serious buyers, please feel free to contact me with questions. Happy trails! $12,000.00 7064891020
