1996 Santek Trailers Custom , Price reduced! Custom made toy hauler by California custom trailer builder Santek in 1996 but was stored for years without and use. The shape of the original interior reflects how little it was used. Very spacious and well appointed. I was looking for a bug out trailer but how to take BIG things with you? Like a Jeep for instance. I found this rig which was built as a solar powered trailer as it has battery boxes in the floor and factor wiring from the inverter and charge controller. Solar panels are not mounted but provided and included in the price listed. The inverter is 2500 watts and will run the refrigerator on solar power. Self contained, Honda water cooled generator with 75 hrs on it and recently gone over. Also a fueling system where you can store 55 gallons of gas, diesel, race fuel and pump it out with hose, filler handle and 12vdc pump and filter assembly. Perfect for the dunes! Four large disk brakes grace two of the three axles. The GVW is 8,000lbs according to the registration. The tires can be trusted as they are only a few years old and 3/4 of the tread left. Alcoa 16.5" aluminum rims. The disk brakes are powered by a hydraulic pump that is controlled by your trailer brake controller which is something a vehicle used to pull something this large will have. When you hit the brakes you won't find yourself wondering if you are going to stop. The brakes are as impressive as everything else on this RV. I have a Reese load leveling hitch that also is sold with this unit which makes it really stable for towing. There is an in floor battery bank that stores energy from a solar array on the roof or side (Not installed at this time), and a charge controller and inverter that changes the solar power to 120volts ac. Solar powered, well built, quiet, steel frame, robust construction and quality throughout. LED running lights all the way around, Halogen flood lights on both sides, 20' rollout shade awning, satellite dome on the roof, roof mounted (cold) a/c unit which runs off the generator. Open a cupboard and look at the wood. Solid, not pressed sawdust. The hinges, the drawer hardware, the Corian counter tops, all top quality and built to last...this is a well built, spacious and comfortable RV. Rear ramp and interior space has floor restraints and can accommodate jeeps, several quads, or small aircraft. Rear beds and tables fold up against the wall. There are two showers, one on the outside and one in the bathroom. Hot water heater, 22' pull out shade (like new condition), leveling jacks.
