NEW fresh rebuilt Vintage trailer, We rebuilt it from the bare frame up. The only used items are the fuse box, the sink and the rear window, everything else is new. Remote control NEW air conditioner, New Glass front refrigerator, New self heating faucet, New water tank and pump. (( P.s )) there is no on board waste tank, it drains into portable waste tank to behind passenger side tire. .. New 3/4inch floors with New laminated wood flooring with foam between to help hold in the cold air during summer and to keep the cold out in the winter. R 13 insulation in roofing, with 3/8 plywood on roof. The Whole camper is wrapped in sheet aluminum with every screw sealed into place with caulking and each seam was also sealed with caulking as well. The walls are also 3/4 flooring. We didn't add to many windows so we could keep our privacy, but we added a 6 foot 6 inch hand made Dutch Door with a real stained glass porthole window into the upper door. The rear window works well and seals up nicely. All interior lights are LED, and the glass front refrigerator is lite with blue LED lights too. There is Four outlets under the sink, One runs the self heating faucet and the other is for the refrigerator. That leaves two open outlets ( we put our microwave under there ). There is another outlet in the counter top were we had our convection range for the occasional inside cooking. There is a real wood cutting board at the end of the counter top over the glass front refrigerator. The REAL Queen mattress is over a LARGE storage area that also houses the 30 gallon water tank and two batteries. " there is a ton of room under there." At the foot of large queen sized bed is a flat screen Tv double swing mounting plate and outlet to plug the Tv into. ( Tv not included ). There are also LED track lights on each end of the upper cabinets. Lots of storage in this small camper. There is even a large closet with display area on top at the entrance end of the camper. The Air conditioner we installed is remote controlled and was made to cool a 800 square foot room, so its more than adequate for this little trailer, " it gets cold enough to almost hang meat inside this thing ". As stated before we kept the windows to a minimum for added privacy, security and to make this little camper really easy to heat and cool. It is very strong and light. It does have electric trailer brakes ((( BUT they are NOT wired ))) simple to do so, but our truck didn't have the controls for them is we didn't hook them up, BUT if new owner wants I can have them wired at local shop. Tires and bearing are new as well. It looks a little older than its titled, ( we tried for a 1940's canned ham look ). The driver side aluminum upper band has funny bends in it. Nothing is hurt there, We just had a hard time with it's install. No hidden damages, its just poor installing on our part. We made this camper to be strong enough to take COLD winters and HOT summers. Our plans were to live in it and travel from kids home to vacation spots. But we have changed out minds and are going even smaller. Maybe a teardrop ? Either way its a RARE totally hand made trailer. Every joint and trim has been sealed and screwed. We even installed 4 steel ( L ) brackets on each side to hold the walls to the flooring and its bolted in 20 places under the flooring holding the whole unit to the frame. We have pictures of the entire restore project and will include as many as we can in the listing. Thanks for your time in interest in our little camper. IT is about 7 foot wide and about 7 foot tall inside, and about 15 foot in length. Pulls very easy too. I would be happy to bring this unit to its new home for 85 cents a loaded mile ANYWHERE including Mexico, Canada, Alaska and any of the 48 states. Along as we can sleep in it while we bring it to you. Contact us any time with questions (605)--920---8986. Please leave message, we will get back to you. IF YOU CAN NOT PAY..............PLEASE............DO NOT BID ............IF YOU ARE TRYING TO FRAUD..........I DO NOT FALL FOR THEM SO DO NOT TRY.... On Jan-15-17 at 08:45:42 PST, seller added the following information: I took it to a scale and it's over all weight is approx. 1800.

1966 Apollo camper is in fair to good condition for it's age and type of use. I will describe it the best I can but please remember it is hard to cover every aspect/detail of the camper. The roof is solid and does not leak but I did have a leak about 25 yrs ago the pervious owner told me. Walls and ceiling paneling are not perfect but still look good and don't need work. Camper has a decent size bathroom. a futon size rear pull out bed and dinette sleeper. Stove works as does sink. Have not tried the furnace or fridge. Tires seem good and held the same air for yrs. This camper is nowhere near perfect however it is pretty clean, Nice and ready to use. PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES AND ASK QUESTIONS> DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING.

(About) 1963 Scotsman travel trailer camper. FIRST OFF<--I WANT TO SAY THAT I HAVE POWERWASHED THIS SINCE THE EXTERIOR PICTURES WERE TAKEN!, AND IT LOOKS MUCH BETTER!) !! Pretty much all of the exterior pics were taken When I picked it up. I have a very narrow driveway and I am not able to get many good side pictures. This is a great little camper. LOTS of space. Very light, nice light tongue weight and light overall (I believe 1300" You'd be surprised how much storage space is above the dinette, in the "Hump" The camper is about 12ft + tongue. Dinette table in front and is set up so that the benches (The originals were not salvageable) creates a twin bed.\Very Nice Turquiose Icebox, Turquoise Holiday 3 Burner stove, and turquoise hood. (The icebox has been repainted.). Lots of storage!! Make no mistake, the camper has water damage in most of the usual spots. This is no surprise considering it is a 50 year old east coast camper. The area under the front window, above the door, some of the back seams.. That being said none of it is particularly surprising, and what you are more than likely to find in pretty much any old east coast camper (and these are getting harder and harder to find) Especially the Scotsman.. there are plenty of Shasta and Scotty campers out there, get someting different! I think this shape is way cooler than any Shasta or Scotty, IMHO. All of the Jalouisie windows are perfect, with nice atomic turns.. All of the glass is intact, and the mechanisms work flawlessly. The camper does not have a screen door, rather a window that functions much like a house window,.. the glass slides down, and the screen is revealed. The glass is broken and needs replacement. The original door handle is intact, and the door closes tight.. I do not have the key unfortunately. The rear window is red plexiglass. The floor is all original, and in great shape.. no soft spots. Even has the original retro turquiose pink linoleum! The skin is overall good. There are some areas of damage, most notably on the street side of the "hump" There is a hole poked through the skin, and was repaired with bondo.. It actually looked really nice until I powerwashed it and some of the bondo flaked off. Could easily be fixed again. There is the usual; wood rot in the front, as I said particularly under the window, and the underside where the front skirt is attached to has rot, so that area is loose. This is very common in the retro canned ham campers.. this one is better built than most Shasta campers or Scotty Campers I have had, but still, be aware that there will need to be work done to the structure of the camper. The frame has surface rust, the jack is not on the camper. The camper is absolutely roadworthy, I just towed it 2 1/2 hours a month or so ago, and it towed like a champ. The bearings were not hot when I got home. (I checked as soon as I finished) There is a hand pump for water, I removed the water tank as it was split right down the middle. Sink is nice, and the cabinets are great sliding type. The electric works. There are two vintage sconces, each with a plug on it, and all four connections work fine. There was a propane lamp above the dinette, which has been removed. There is a really cool slide out cutting board. Smells clean.. I really cleaned it out thoroughly when I got it home. Got rid of all the mouse houses, bleached everything, cleaned it several times. These campers are getting harder and harder to find. This camper was never abused.. the wear and rot in this camper is what you will find in pretty much every east coast camper. That being said they are also very simply constructed and can easily rebuilt. This has everything and just needs some work.. A great winter project! I can give you a bill of sale. I also have the original registration from the previous owner. What happened was the guy I bought this from bought it from his neighbor with the intention of making a food truck (Thank God he didnt!) The neighbor signed the registration over to the Man I bought it from, but he never registered it. I have that form and you are more than welcome to it. I am very certain that there are absolutely NO ownership issues with the camper. Good thread on both tires, One tire has a small leak. I filled it up, towed it 2 1/2 hours, and it was still at pressure.. took 2 days to droop.. The running lights are not working and will need to be rewired, or spliced. I will include a new set of tow lights, and a new set of safety chains. This is a really great camper, with an absolutely unique shape. Its a classic! Only selling because my dream camper came along, so I have to sell this both to raise money for the dream camper, and also out of necessity.. I am only allowed 1 camper at a time. How unreasonable!!! :) Thanks alot and let me know if you have any questions. The last picture is of another Scotsman.. Exact same shape, just different door) As I said, this camper is roadworthy and I recently towed it 2 1/2 hours with no problems, but I just want to state that it is recommended to use a flatbed when purchasing a Vintage trailer, especially if you will be driving long distances.

Recently restored, rare aluminum canned ham travel trailer ready for its first camping trip. The original exterior was just polished and looks fantastic. There has been some damage to the skin over the years but nothing stands out much. Some small dents from hail and a few other dents and damage are in video below. Original glass side running lights look perfect. Small chip in rear center running light. All original windows are in working order. Tail lights are not an exact match. Windows and screens were removed and refurbished. Brand new propane tank was painted to match trailer tongue, new valve and line installed to original cooktop. No furnace in this 3 season trailer. All the eyebrows over doors and windows and exterior roof seams have had new butyl putty installed. The roof then had aluminum clad membrane applied over all seams. Brand new trailer tires were just installed and the wheel bearings were removed and repacked with fresh grease. 2900 lb. trailer is pretty light and is easily towed by almost any car or truck. It would be a great compliment to a classic car on drive in night. The new pull out step is sturdy and very convenient. I replaced the locks and keys for luggage compartment and front door. The original deco grab bar was re-polished with some very minor pitting visible up close. New heavy gauge aluminum threshold and fresh weather stripping at entrance. The interior is brand new and smells fresh. All natural maple interior woodwork matches the maple laminate flooring almost perfectly. The closet has a shelf/hanging rod and modern round mirror mounted on the door. The sink and faucet are original and are ready for hook up on the left side of the trailer, the extension is included. Original 110v light fixtures and new outlets are also ready to plug in on left side of trailer and provide plenty of light and options for charging a phone or playing music. Original cook top works great, perfect for a cup of coffee and eggs in the morning. New stainless steel back splash and magnetic utensil bar over sink. New white laminate countertops with original aluminum table edge. Original cooler and hardware works great, top shelf is for ice and has a drain for melt off. Table and cushions folds down into a bed if you plan on sleeping more than a couple. Extra storage under seats and bed. Upper cabinets have sliding doors. Drawer is fitted with a utensil organizer. All cabinets have the original mid century pulls. Very nice full size bed with new bedding and Laura Ashley down comforter. Booth has presentable upholstery but is not perfect. The foam and fabric in booth are new. New curtains. Overall a very fun and beautiful vintage camper that is ready for the national parks or a weekend getaway. Pull it with a classic to your next show or make a nice guest room between road trips. See beautiful Colorado on your way back home. Tongue requires a 2" ball mounted over 20" up from ground to clear the trailer wheel. Clear vintage title in hand. $500 non refundable deposit at auction closing. Balance to be paid by certified or personal check within 7 days of auction closing. Funds must clear prior to picking up trailer. Please ask any questions prior bidding. Here are some more photos and some close ups of any damage to aluminum skin.

Our trailers are not equipped with micro waves and flat screen tvs. Our trailers are back to original, and we make sure that they have a few original character flaws to show their vintage style. We build our trailers to give the owner an authentic 1950s experience. This 1955 Gibson trailer was built in Hollywood California, at the height of southern California’s heyday. It is a very rare and sought after trailer. There are not many of these trailers left. From the original screen door to the absolutely coolest metal tag ever, this trailer just plain screams cool! This trailer is really as nice and 50s as it gets About Canned Ham Hero's Canned Ham Heroes specializes in recreating the original beauty and retro look of vintage travel trailers. Our goal is to preserve and restore these iconic American gems. At Canned Ham Heroes we keep everything original as much as possible. Our commitment to totally restoring the right look and feel of days gone by sets us apart from the pack. We only replace inside and out anything that must be changed out to restore the trailer to the authentic beauty of its era. Each trailer we complete demonstrates a very vintage and retro appropriate look. We use all two-toned base automotive finishes that are replicated from automobiles and trailers of the 1950s and 1960s. Our interiors are era appropriate, using new birch plywood or original plywood, if possible, with new doors and drawer faces made to exactly match the originals. All hinges, handles, lighting and hardware are replaced new to match the original look and feel of the trailer. Our trailers are perfect fit and complement for custom hot rods or classic cars. Pulling a Canned Ham Heroes restoration trailer behind a classic car, you will look like you just stepped out of the ’50s or ’60s. We take great pride in that. How We Restore Canned Ham Heroes specializes in frame up restoration. Most of our trailers are taken clear down to the metal frame and rebuilt to create stronger built structures than were originally used. Everything — including wiring, woodwork and metal — is replaced as needed in the process. Trailer restoration includes removing all windows, polishing them, and resealing before we reinstall them We do not cover over any damaged areas -- we address water or other damages and repair or replace as needed We completely undercoat the vehicle and reseal the roofs to protect it from the elements during this step in the trailer restoration process If the interior wood can be restored, we strip to bare wood and reface with the highest quality materials that will bring out the original beauty of the wood
