GAS AND ELECTRIC. STOVE ONLY PUT MY GAS BOTTLE ON LONG ENOUGH TO LIGHT THE 4 STOVE TOP DIDNT MESS WITH THE OVEN. THE CONTROL PANEL IS ON THE STOVE HOOD TURNED ON ALMOST EVERY LIGHT IN IT AND ONE THAT DID NOT WORK WAS ON THE SLIDE AND IT HAS A DIMMER KNOB ON IT BUT DID NOT SEARCH AS TO WHY. AND THAT BRINGS ME TO THE SLIDE. IT IS ELECTRIC AND DID GO OUT AND IN BUT THE CARPET WANTED TO KIND OF BUNCH UP AND HAD TO FOOL WITH CARPET TO GET IT TO COME IN WITHOUT MESSING IT UP.. THE SLIDE AS THE REST IS OLDER AND DIDNT SEEM LIKE THE MOTOR WAS WEEK AND WOULD RUN FOR A WHILE WITH THE TINKERING AND MESSING WITH THE CARPET. THIS WILL BE THE WORST OF THE WORST THE SLIDE ITSELF BODY WISE OR WILL SAY ROOF OF SLIDE IS DELAM PRETTY BAD AND THIS WAS A LEAK ON THE UNIT THAT I DO NOT KNOW IF IT HAS BEEN FIXED. LETS ASUME NOT. THISIS WATER DAMAGE ESPECIALLY IN CABINET AREA NOT SO BAD THAT THE REPAIR CANT BE MADE JUST NEEDS ATTENTION IF YOU ARE LEAVING THE SLIDE OUT. THIS I FEEL IMPORTANT FOR ALL OF YOU TO BE MADE AWARE OF. I WOULD WANT TO KNOW IF IT WERE ME. THE OTHER BAD AREA I SEEN IS THE ONE SIDE REAR CUBBY STORAGE WHOLE THE BASE OF IT NEEDS ATTENTION AS WELL OR JUST DONT USE IT. THE REST OF THE CUBBY ALL SEEM OK FOR THE YEAR. I PUT A CLOSE TO NEW BATTERY IN IT AND IT DID OPERATE THINGS IT SHOULD AND AM LEAVING THE BATTERY WITH THE CAMPER SO IT ISNT A EXPENCE FOR YOU. LOOKS LIKE THE CEILING IN MASTER BEDROOM WAS REPLACED AT ONE TIME AND THE KITCHEN PANEL ON ONE SIDE ALSO. I DID CLIMB UP ON THE ROOF AND TAKE A PIC FOR YOU ALL AND HONESTLY DIDNT SEE ANY TYPE OF ROOF CONCERN AND TRUTH BE KNOWN IT WAS RAINING CATS AND DOGS TODAY WHILE I WAS IN IT AND NO DRIPS APPARENT ANYWHERE. AMAZING AT IT SOUNDS BUT TRUE. I WAS HAPPY IT WAS STORMING SO I KNEW EVERYTHING. CUBBY KEYS, GET SOME I WILL LOOK AROUND MY STUFF AND GIVE YOU WHAT I HAVE BUT SEEN TO BE ALL NORMAL CAMPER KEYS YOUR NEIGHBORS WILL FIT. THERE IS A BACKUP HAND CRANK FOR FRONT LEGS I HAD TO USE IT NOT BECAUSE THE MOTOR IS BAD DIDNT HAVE A KEY TO TURN ON THE ON OFF SWITCH AND WILL WORK ON GETTING ONE NOT A PROMISE BUT WILL TRY. THE ELECTRIC POWER CORD CUBBY COVER IS ALSO NOT THERE. IN THE FRONT BASEMENT THERE ARE 2 EXTENDED JACKS FOR SUPPORT THAT WILL STAY WITH THIS UNIT ALSO. 1 PROPANE TANK WAS STOLEN AND FIGURE WHEN PROPANE WENT THROUGH THE ROOF THE CROOKS NEEDED IT WORSE THAN US THEY DID LEAVE THE EMPTY ONE. THE LIGHTS FOR THE OUTSIDE OF THE UNIT TAILIGHTS ALL WORKED BREAK LIGHTS AND A FEW MARKERS WERE BURNT OUTBUT FIGURE THEY WORK WITH NEW BULBS. THE REAR DOOR I DID REPLACE THE COMPLETE WINDOW SAME CROOKS THAT TOOK THE TANK BROKE IT OUT. THAT IS ALL I KNOW ABOUT THE MECHANICS OF THE UNIT AND WILL INFORM YOU OF ALL THE INSIDE THINGS NOW. THERE ARE NUMEROUS CABINETS AND CUPBOARDS IN THE CAMPER. THE PANTRY BY THE REFRIGERATOR HAS A SLIDE DRAWER INSIDE, CABINETS ABOVE AND BELOW THE SINK, TO THE LEFT OF THE SINK AND ACROSS FROM THE SINK. Good luck bidding!Thank you for looking at our 1996 Southwind Fleetwood Motor Home. This camper has a GM engine and frame. We believe it's 36 feet long with dual axles. It has two air conditioners on the roof and one factory air, and all conditioners work. It has the electric levelers that work fine and the side slide-out works correctly. This also has a Onan Marquis 5000 generator with very low hours. Unfortunately, an animal ate a wire inside of it, and it will no longer get a spark to start. This also has a beautiful wood floor, trailer hitch, 20 foot awning, electric steps, and many many more options.This was purchased new 20 years ago and the original owner sold it with 16,000 miles on it 4 years ago to the people that I bought it from. When they purchased it 4 years ago, they replaced the original tires and serviced it to run the best. They used it very little over 4 years, only 250 miles a year. It was basically for camping during the summer. There was a $420 power source for the main and auxiliary power boxes, which was replaced. We put in 3 brand new batteries and the vehicle starts and drives just like brand new. Will need a gasket in park pressure pin.It is amazing how well it drives with the dual axles in the back. Outside of the size of the vehicle, it drives no differently than driving a large van. If you're looking for a beautiful, well-kept Class A motor home, this motor home is in excellent condition and with the low miles would probably do just about everything that a new one would do.
