Used 3 times for short trips! In like-new condition. Everything works - we overestimated our free time from work! Queen Bed with extra memory foam mattress, Pop Out to extend kitchen table which, when folded down, can sleep a child or two. It has a very handy awning that rolls out for shade. Comes with the choks wheel stabilizers and a few extras we purchased. We easily pulled it up hills with our Xterra. Fully restored, 1961 Holiday House, 24' vintage travel trailer. Restored in Mid-Century Modern style so it can be used to camp (and will make a huge hit at the campground!), at vintage trailer events or at Mid-Century Modern events. Possibly one of the coolest travel trailers on the planet. Holiday House's are know for their stylish exterior design, especially the curved glass in the front with the fiberglass overhang. Very light and airy inside with lots of glass. Holiday Houses were built in Medford, Oregon by the Harry and David Fruit Company when they could not pack fruit in the winter. Built in 1960 and 1961 until the plant burned down. There are few left and most are shorter units. We have only seen this one but have been told that another exists. Beautiful on the outside, Holiday Houses used dark paneling on the walls, cabinets and even the ceiling inside. As this unit had been reconfigured in the past, we chose to brighten up the unit with white walls and cabinets, using the orange original countertops and the original stove and oven. Theme of the unit is then white, orange and olive green, as the bathroom seemed to be originally green. Bathroom remains restored original with bathtub (yes!), shower, sink, conventional toilet and closet. Lots of storage. Original ineffective gas heater was eliminated and replaced by new, low profile roof mounted a/c and heater. The unit is not self-contained as it does not have tanks but we never dry camp anyway. Inside has a large seating area in front with two tables; a dining table which can be replaced by an ameba shaped cocktail table. Kitchen has original stove/oven (with hood) and refrigerator, which work great. Hidden microwave and double sink. There is a sofa in back across from the storage closet, which expands into a double bed. Exterior uses original aluminum that has been polished and treated. Painted bright orange and cream (whimbledon white), new tires and wheels along with very cool hubcaps to match. The unit tows great behind a 1/2 ton pick-up. Many, many photos on Google Images "holiday house trailer". I do not appear to have many pictures of it so will add more next week.
