Everybody loves a show girl! Her name is Lola and she's ready to escape with her new owner... right now! She is rare and knock-down beautiful. The Bambi 2 was made only one year. Airstream designed her to be towed by a Mustang~ she weighs a feathery 1950 pds. She sleeps 4 and has a SHOWER and a COMMODE. she has everything you need, and all in a baby sized package. This is the last of my Airstream Collection....somebody is about to become the luckiest person on the road. She was found in Santa Fe NM. Airstreams in NM and AZ are RUST FREE. Machine Age/Art Deco Beauty....ready to go!The Liner influence is seen in her fixed Spartan Helmet looking front and rear window. 3 models were made in 1948 and 1949...the Weewind,(16ft) Trailwind (18) and theWhirlwind (28) the Liners have their design influence in the early Machine Age style of the 30s. She was purchased in San Jose CA in 1949 and has spent her entire life in central AZ..NO RUST. Found in amazing original condition ,she went through a frame up restoration with OCD attention to original detail. here are a few highlights that make here a one in a million...Her shine is absolutely awesome! 18 feet and 1580 pds 1. Frame was perfect as from factory...we added steel Gussets that tied in the pipe with either side of iron angle...10 x stronger than original factory. This unseen enhancement is one of the most important parts of the trailers overhaul. 2. NEW SUBFLOOR... 3. NEW FLOOR COVERING...this is perfect match to original. (VCT Tile) Mesa Green with Grey accents. 4. ORIGNAL COLEMAN STOVE...perfect working order. 5.ORIGINAL ICEBOX ...built into the stainless sink and cabinets. 6. ORIGINAL interior color.. Tender Green paint 7. FULL SIZE BED...SPACEFOAM MATTRESS (Yes we departed from original on the sleeping comfort) 8. ORIGINAL Air-O-Lite window on sides....open with a push rod...nothing to ever break. 9. FRONT and REAR..NEW LEXAN OPTICS windows...COOL!!!! 10. ALL period Art Deco décor goes with her. 11.
