Prevost/Beaver XL40Own a luxury Prevost/Beaver conversion, just in time for summer travel! Converted in 1992 from a new chassis, this gorgeous coach has never been a commercial bus. Beaver Corporation only converted 34 coaches and was known for their superior interior cabinetry; this 27th conversion has a beautiful solid cherry table, chairs, woodwork and cabinets.This well-kept coach is a Class A, 40-foot diesel pusher. The Detroit Diesel 8V92 engine has 172,000 miles and an Allison 5-speed transmission. It runs great! Beaver #27 has four (4D) house batteries and two (2500 watt) inverters. The generator is a 17-kw diesel long-life Kubota engine with a marathon head. Bus has 50-amp electric hookup with a long power cord plus extension cord. This coach has dual water heaters for plenty of hot water, a 100-gallon fresh water, 40-gallon black water, and 60-gallon grey water tank. The Firestone tires have less than 30k miles and the brakes also have less than 30k miles. Elegant interior features include a solid cherry table with an extra leaf and four matching, cushioned chairs; jack-knife couch that sleeps two adults, and two barrel chairs that match the power driver and passenger seats. All windows have an etched border with light-filtering pleated shades AND cream-colored Roman shades. The entire bus is color-coordinated with burgundy with black accents, including a central runner, cushions on kitchen chairs, bathroom rug and Queen-sized comforter and pillow shams. Entertainment includes two flat-screen televisions (in-motion DIRECTV), a blue ray player and surround sound, plus a CD player. Kitchen contains a Sharp convection microwave/oven, a two-burner Gaggnau gas cooktop, and three-way Dometic refrigerator. A 40-gallon propane tank holds ample fuel for refrigerator and cooktop. The bathroom has beveled mirrors on closet doors and on the two solid cherry pocket entrance doors. In addition, the shower has an etched glass enclosure, toilet and lavatory and an offset entrance to the bedroom. Dual water heaters provide ample hot water for showers and cooking. Rear bedroom has a Queen bed and lots of cedar-lined closets. Front full bay with Joey slides provide easy access for even more storage. Interior temperature is controlled by Prevost over-the-road air conditioning and heat, plus the bus contains three Cruisair air conditioners, and Webasto heat.This Prevost is in excellent shape; no rust, as most of chassis is stainless steel. In addition, Beaver #27 has been very well maintained and serviced regularly. The coach just returned from 3500-mile trip to Florida. Furnished with living essentials, all you need to do is gather some clothes and food, and you’ll be ready to hop in and start an adventure!All original manuals included.
