Meet Matilda. Someone’s going to get a great deal on her since I’m sending my oldest to college in August. She has only had two owners since new. She looks like she’s only 4-5 years out of the factory inside and out. In 1989 she sold new for $111,000 and it really shows that she was top-of-the-line. With only 28K original miles she’s ready to travel now. Very livable and would make a great tiny / small home. Sleeps up to 6, but would be best for a couple. The first owner had a warehouse, stored Matilda lovingly inside for the first ½ of her life. The second (and current) owner always kept her covered when not in use (cover included). She has been meticulously maintained, spent her whole life in California (no corrosion) and is nearly pristine. New or recently tuned up on Matilda: • All tires are new in 2015 ($3000 value) • New batteries with new Intelligent “Converter / Charger” which converts DC to AC. This newer tech monitors and extends battery life. ($1500 value) • New radiator (within ~14 months - $500 value) • New porcelain commode ($250 value) • Rebuild fridge ($500 value) • Rebuilt AC unit ($500 value) • New Awning! ($1000 value) • Chevy Big Block recently tuned up and runs great • Kohler 60 Amp Generator recently tuned up and runs great. This is probably the nicest Class A motor home of this vintage you’ll see. She’s priced for a quick sale so I can pay tuition, but don’t let the price fool you, she’s ready to drive, camp and waltz now without problems. Give me a call and I'll make you a deal. Someone going to love Matilda.
