Hello Fellow Travelers. This coach is like family to me. I can guarantee it is the cleanest, best maintained Monaco Knight you will ever find. It has been lovingly cared for, and has been my partner on many grand adventures across America. Unfortunately, health issues are getting in the way of my ability to safely pilot the coach. But, the Monaco is itching to travel, and she is seeking a new owner who will love her like I do . Here is a brief description of this wonderful motorhome. Power is King, and this coach has it in spades with her 330 HP Cummins ISC diesel engine, which is also equipped with an exhaust brake. That Cummins power gets to the road through an Allison 3000 MH 6 speed transmission. The excellent drivetrain sits astride a Roadmaster RR8R chassis, and once you're on the road your comfort is a given since you're riding on a cushion air glide suspension with 8 air bags, and 8 shock absorbers. The cloud-like ride is further complimented by 6-way power pilot and co-pilot seats with footrests, and you can keep the sun out of your eyes by using the power sun visors. The coach rolls on Goodyear 670RV tires. The fronts were replaced in 2012, and the rear tires were updated a year later. The Big Red Cummins continously delivers fuel economy that hovers between 8 to 9 MPG, while sipping fuel from the 100 gallons carried on board. The diesel tank also supplies fuel to the 8KW Onan generator which is showing 893 hours on the clock. On board electrics are taken care of by a 2000 watt Magnum inverter, which is protected by an auxiliary Progressive power and surge protector Energy Management System. The day is done...and you're safely parked for the night. Now is the time to let this coach show you what luxury it offers when parked. Get level with the HWH fully automatic, hydraulic leveling system. Extend the four spacious slide rooms, followed by the automatic Carefree front door and 19 foot patio awnings. The slide rooms are protected by metal covered "topper" awnings. Sit out, and enjoy the Direct TV satellite system. Once parked, the four 6 volt Trojan Deep Cycle batteries (replaced in 2014) assist with power needs. Stay cool with two 13.5 BTU air conditioners, which are also equipped with a heat pump system. Outside plumbing includes a power water hose reel, and the holding tanks are easily handled by the RV Sani-Con system. When the season is over...take advantage of the automatic winterization system, and put the Monaco to sleep for the winter. There's much, much more, and I've tried to capture as much as possible in the attached photos.
