up for sale is my 75 gmc . i have owned this rv for about 10 years i bought it from my parents who owned it for 14-15 years. i know this rv inside and out. i restored this classic a lot of the work i did myself . some of the highlights of this rv are a new 15,000 btu ac unit on roof which is also a heat pump and it works great it will even heat the coach down to about 34 degrees outside temp.. i also installed a new gas furnace for those very cold days. the kitchen counter was updated to a granite top that was milled to ¾" and finished with an under mounted sink. the bedroom in the rear has a new full size mattress and comfortably sleeps two full size adults . all ceiling and wall panels were replaced as well as the floor. 2 new captains chairs with lumbar and armrests were installed. the coach was repainted about 5 years ago and looks great! brand new wheels and tires including spare . the engine runs great i had a mechanic install new timing chain , water pump, rebuilt carb, electric choke and he dropped both fuel tanks and went over everything . new air bag suspension which only needs 40 psi compared to the old 90 psi system. many other upgrades such as square headlights , engine compartment louvers , waste system upgrades that make it simple to dump. onan generator was gone over and runs perfect. too much to list but feel free to ask any questions. please note the new wheels and tires aren't in pic but i will get some new pics asap. new 3" exhaust was installed and the 455 olds runs and sounds great . this coach runs smooth with plenty of power it has no problem keeping up if not passing traffic. all side and rear windows have limo tint but still needs new shades i just didn't get to them yet. this coach gets a lot of attention and turns a lot of heads i wish it didn't have to go but financial issues are forcing me to sell her i have thousands of hours into it and i did everything with the thinking that i will have it for a long time. it is easy to drive and park , it sets up at campsites in minutes and just as easy to pack up and go. insurance is cheap i only pay $72 a year to keep liability on it. she is 40 years old but very well engineered and built solid . body is all aluminum and fiberglass .

We've adored this motor home for the past 8 years and now we're selling it to start our daughter's college funds! About 13,000 were built thru the mid-70's, and about 8000 of these campers are still on the road. This coach was made completely by GMC, from the chassis and the drive train to the fiberglass body and interior. We bought it with 82,400 miles from a retired gentleman who re-did everything short of a frame-off RV restoration. The updated interior is in perfect shape and has never been smoked in. It has 94807 miles on it now. Sleeps 5 comfortably. The Oldsmobile 455 engine powers the Toronado front-wheel drive train with a surprising amount of power. Easily climbs hills on the highway, usually without the 4-speed auto transmission shifting. The interior has been updated and just about EVERYTHING works as it should. The 4 KW Onan Generator runs great, but stopped producing electricity on a road trip last year. It probably needs new brushes or something simple like that, but I have not had the time to dive into it.-Clean title in hand.-6 brand new tires and professional wheel polish in May 2013. We always keep covers on the wheels/tires when parked.-7 aluminum Alcoa wheels (6 on the road, 1 spare).-New brake rotor and wheel bearing on front axle - passenger side.-HUGE full-length Zip-Dee patio awning on the passenger side, and we're including a matching uninstalled full-length "window" awning for the driver's side.-Full gas tanks (about 50 gallons).-2 new chassis batteries in April 2011.-Smart charger on house batteries that maintains battery integrity (doesn't over-charge or let voltage get too low).-Coaxial cable run throughout the interior so you can hook up to cable TV at campsites.-Custom-made GMC light shade over dinette.-All windows have blinds, windshield has a full-width curtain and exterior button-on cover (for use at campsites).-Updated side-view mirrors.-All plumbing updated to PVC (from copper) and whole system/water pump works as it should, no leaks.-Macerator hooked to black water lines. It grinds everything and you dump the system through A GARDEN HOSE! Very cool =)-Carrier rooftop A/C unit cools whole coach wonderfully - shroud cover is cracked, but that doesn't effect A/C performance.-2 rooftop MaxxAire Fans that allow you to keep roof vents open all year thru rain/snow/whatever.-2 extra mounted fans for driver and front passenger seat. -Propane stove top and thermostat-controlled furnace.-Updated microwave that doubles as a conventional oven (has original manual).-Under-cabinet toaster oven. -Custom made sliding screen door that flows with the contours of the coach.-Awesome updated leather captain's chairs in the cockpit, and both spin around to rear-facing for when you're camping.-Air-ride rear suspension makes for an awesome smooth ride, and also acts as a leveling system at the camp site! We're including the original Dana compressor that needs to be rebuilt. Right now both air bags operate independently with schrader valves. When parked, we let the air out of the bags and set the frame on wood blocks so the airbags are free of the coach's weight. This helps the air bags to last a LONG, LONG time.-We kept the chassis nice and greased, and jacked the coach at each lube so the grease would flow into all components. Frame is in perfect shape, no rust whatsoever.-TONS of literature included as well as a huge original maintenance manual.-Lots of extra parts/lights/tools. Pretty much anything we have that is GMC Motorhome related will be included with the coach.-Some great plates/bowls/cups/mixing bowls included in the cabinets... LOTS of overhead storage!I would put my family in this thing and drive across the country tomorrow, so I'm confident that it will make it to wherever you live... it's road ready! Send me a message with any questions. I'll give you my phone number too if you want to have a conversation about it. We're more than willing to have you come see it as well. We would prefer a check or cash when you come to take delivery of the motorhome and do the title transfer. Thanks for looking!!
