1976 Lindy RV on Ford chassis. 89,000 mi. New Firestone tires installed in 2013. $1,200 value. New 4 barrel carburetor ($500) installed on heavy duty 460 cubic inch Ford V8 engine. 5% limo tint on all windows (another $500 value & professionally installed) except cab windows. Cab has a custom white waterproof leather cover to black out cab windows. Also has room darkening shades on all windows. Perfect for that daytime hangover!!! lol. Thats why I installed it. So dark you have to turn on light on a sunny afternoon! Ice cold roof unit AC to help ground out noise from daytime partiers and 2-stroke engines. lol. Custom boarding step that can be chain locked from underneath. New electric refrigerator installed in 2011. Cold water plumbing only for sinks, toilet, & shower. Hot water heater removed (rusted out). Propane furnace good along with thermostat, stove & oven if you hook up gas line. It was ripped off when a tire shredded before I installed new tires. Doesn't pay for me to fix since I'm not asking much for RV. All electricity works along with battery powered back-up interior lights & water pump. 2 sofas fold out into a larger than King Size Bed!!! Table & legs under sofa. Wall corners & roof heavily reinforced inside & out with heavy 1/8 inch thick stainless steel and large square tubing on roof. Had slight water damage to wood over cab in 2007. Has been repaired with sealant on roof. You can walk on entire roof other than over cab. I dont walk on roof over cab as I'm 310 lbs. Its holding together fine though since 2007. New power steering pump, belts, water pump, starter solenoid, timing gears & timing chain, driveshaft u-joints & carrier bearing, carburetor, fuel pump, thermostat, hoses, radiator & engine flushed. cleaned, and refilled. All in the last 5,000 miles. I kept records of all of the maintenance while we owned it. This RV saved us from a lot of possible DWI's!!! Party and don't worry about driving home because you are there!!! RV runs & drives great still. Has 2 inch ball & electric brake controller for towing a big trailer if necessary.
