This is a 20ft Dodge Superior Motorhomes made by the Superior Bus Company of Lima, Ohio.It is made of steel with an alodine plating. When scratched the alodine would bleed into the scratch and prevent the steel from rusting.It has a 318 Dodge Engine. Often called the tank for it's sturdy construction, there is an urban legend that one rolled several times in an accident on an interstate. It came to rest on its wheels and the driver opened the door by just turning the door lock handle. It was built using 1st rate components, plumbing lines were copper -- not plastic. For a small unit it has lots of interior storage and innovations. Black & Grey tanks are enclosed in a heated foam lined compartment. The fresh water tank has heat strips under it. The forward seat on the dinette flips over and becomes a forward facing bench seat. Rebuilt the engine and transmission in March 2015. New paint job and interior in June 2015. Microwave, refrigerator, stove, and generator all work well. I replaced the tail lights with LEDs and put new lens on the brake lights. Replaced the electric fuel pump with a mechanical pump and it has a new 2 barrel carb. The tires have 90% tread. The roof is in great condition with no leaks. The AC/Heat unit works great. It has two flat screens both hooked up to a digital antenna and cable ready and the front tv can easily be moved to the back for tailgating at a Carolina Panther or Auburn Tigers game. The body was chemically stripped down to the bare steel and the interior was completely redone. I have included some before photos. A lot of work was done on this RV. Very nice vintage RV.

Very cool 1973 Dodge Superior 2500 Motorhome with only 76k miles! This unit is truly like a time capsule. Big Chrysler 440 motor starts every time and purrs like a kitten. The interior is all original and is super clean. Dash and gauges work as they should as do signals and lights. After I got her, I had her looked at by RV Service of Virginia and spent over $5k in some exterior and interior work. Motor, brakes, suspension and wheels were go over and made perfect. The water plumbing was replaced as was the entire LP system. This is a very simple truck that is a 'point and go' type of rig. All the guys at the service shop couldn't believe on nice and intact she was for being 41 years old! I got her a year ago as more of a 'ha-ha' to take to tail gates, concerts and festivals etc....I got it here and some of the systems needed to be replaced as mentioned which costs a bunch...wife was p*ssed. Realized it gets about 12 miles a gallon and is expensive to fill up....wife was p*ssed. This RV that is a cross between something very cool and something that Cousin Eddie would drive and its in on the side street of our house....wife is p*ssed.
