The work, time, and money necessary to transform this rig for off-grid travel is already done. This '99 F350 and Bigfoot camper has all the amenities -- no hookups required. This rig was put together for a trip to South America last winter, with the idea to sell when we got back. It worked beautifully for us -- two months; no hookups. Solar panels with a 2 KW inverter powers lights, refrig., fans, water pump, flat screen TV and stereo system, microwave, toaster and electric coffee maker. Wet bath with cassette toilet included to make dumping easier in areas with no dump stations (original toilet included.) Extra storage spots added for little extras and hiding valuables. Basement is large, long and has interior/exterior access. Camper is operated by four batteries located in front of wheel wells in the truck bed. The batteries are charged both by solar panels and HD charging system from the truck.
