The work, time, and money necessary to transform this rig for off-grid travel is already done. This '99 F350 and Bigfoot camper has all the amenities -- no hookups required. This rig was put together for a trip to South America last winter, with the idea to sell when we got back. It worked beautifully for us -- two months; no hookups. Solar panels with a 2 KW inverter powers lights, refrig., fans, water pump, flat screen TV and stereo system, microwave, toaster and electric coffee maker.
