Very rare Argosy Minuet 24'. Great condition for its age. Solid floor, solid roof, never leaked. Use as is or a great candidate for restoration. Fridge and stove are original and work. Don't know about furnace, was told it is unsafe because of age and never fired it up. Hot water tank worked last time we used it, but tank now has a split. Cosmetically, pictures are forgiving. Curtains need to be replaced. Paint showing wear, small scratches and dents and striping needs to be redone if you want it to look fabulous. We kinda like it's weathered charm. It's old, for goodness sakes. Was purchased from the son of the original owner 13 years ago and has been dragged all over the country. Great Camper KARMA. All offers considered. Kid needs some pricey dental work (if you happen to be a dentist, let's work out a deal!) Come see it.

1976 Argosy Airstream 24 ft Motorhome Aluminum Bus w/ 454 Hi everyone, I'm excited to offer this awesome motorhome for sale. Its a 24 ft Rear Twin Airstream Motorhome Bus called the Argosy from 1976. It has a bus or blimp shape, and you usually see them completely polished when restored. They really look great. It runs but needs the starter adjusted or shimmed, and the gas carb adjusted. Right now, we can start it and drive it. It runs and good too. We drove it from Anaheim to Victorville the other day and it ran good, we think the carburetor needs to be adjusted because at one point it backfired and shot blue 2 ft flames out of the twin tail pipes, it was awesome! The carb also bogged down in traffic and died, and we had to restart it with starting fluid. New battery and lots of newer parts. My friend did a carb rebuild, and also replaced the float., but he wasn't sure how to adjust it. The tires are pretty good, no major issues there, brakes were ok, motor was strong. The interior/inside appliances and furniture have been taken apart, I believe most of the original parts are still there in the motorhome uncompleted/unrestored sitting there. Toilet, stove, shower, spare tire, onan 4k generator, There are lots of newer parts too including lighting, seals, other stuff. I also have most if not all of the original trims and bumpers and aluminum side pieces which you can see are missing in the photos, this RV was in the process of restoration when I acquired it. Bottom end of motor recently rebuilt by mechanic we know. Cracks in windshield. Hippy bumper stickers on back bumper. All parts are untested. The motor and drive train are good, It has a 454 Chevy motor. The captains chairs are pretty nice, they are from an Allegro motorhome. The history on this RV is: My friend bought it used a few years ago, spent $5000 restoring it, and ran out of time and money, I thought it was super cool, and he was cool and kind enough to part with it, so I acquired it off of him. I want to restore it myself, but I can tell I may not have the patience to see the project through. I was thinking of clearing out the back section and making it into a party/road trip bus for my friends and I, I had an idea of a mural painting of the Pacific Northwest along the sides with certain areas polished to original shine. I want to take my family and friends out to the lake for a picnic, and put some sweet speakers in it. How about a mobile business? What are your dreams for this motorhome? What would you do with it? Do you want to buy it? Let me know. Text is best, phone calls ok for serious buyers 760-885fourthree74 John L. Buyer is responsible for pick up of motorhome. I have the paperwork in hand, Salvage title, registration exp 4-14, Just so you know, the vin # it shows here on ebay is not correct, serious buyers can ask for VIN.
