The 2012 Winnebago View gets 18mpg, drives like a car, and features Mercedes Benz Turbo-Diesel reliability, fuel economy, performance, and towing power. In addition, this View has been upgraded with most desirable features for camping in nature: two GoPower Solar Panels with a solar controller, a solar-run Turbokool swamp cooler as a second air conditioner, LED lights, a Cell Phone Signal Booster, and two 6-Volt marine batteries. These upgrades are worth over $4,000, and enable you to dry camp without relying on the generator in the peaceful quiet of nature. Not having a loud generator running makes your camping neighbors happy, too! The 24M model retains its value better than most RV's because of its' unique features and there are few on the market used. The 24M is unique in that the slideout is a full wall, almost doubling the square footage, the kitchen counter space is much wider for easier cooking, and the layout makes it feel open and spacious. The three beds sleep five people: a comfortable overhead foam mattress, a couch fold-out air mattress, and a dinette booth that makes into a bed. With a length of 24.6 ft, the View allows you to camp in regional parks (which larger RVs cannot). Everything in this RV is in excellent condition. The engine and outer body is under warranty from Mercedes Benz, up to 100K miles, and Mercedes provides excellent service. A tow car enables you to set up the RV at your base camp, and then come and go with your car for explorations and grocery shopping. The Honda Fit runs perfectly. The tow package is very easy to hookup. It includes an installed braking system in the Fit, wiring in the RV, a battery disconnect switch and an Aladdin tow bar. The Honda Fit and tow package are available for an additional $10K. (You'll save a lot by buying the RV with the Fit and tow package, rather than buying them separately.
