We bought this B class RV and then found out my wife was pregnant, so we had to halt our travel plans. $143,000 retail. This RV is truly like new. Less than 10K miles, less than 5 hours of generator use, never used stove, oven and microwave. The miles were almost exclusively destination miles and a few local trips we snuck in before the baby arrived. What we love: This is the best looking coach and best floor plan in the smallest footprint. There is a pop out bed which has enough leg room for taller people, unlike a lot of models. It has a great ventilation system, drives easy, and fits in regular parking spots. It has no decals so it doesn't stand out as an RV. 2 wheels (dualies) on the back so it is stable even during high winds. At 24 feet long, it is the largest RV allowed in most national parks. Full bathroom with separate shower, with pocket door and surprisingly large. Tons of cabinets and storage. We don't want to let this go but the timing isn't right for us. Open to trades other than another RV.

This van is a lemon! You will need to have it repaired. Right up front - full disclosure: It is currently unusable as a self-contained RV and in my view it is unsafe. While the van MAY still have certain warranties, DO NOT count on Winnebago. On the bill of sale you will have to certify that you have read these two websites: http://winnebago-industries.pissedconsumer.com and http://winnebago-poor-quality.com. I have had RVs for over 40 years including several Class B vans. This is without a doubt the worst vehicle I have ever owned - in fact, this is the worst consumer experience I have ever had -- and I have cable TV ;-) Winnebago has been unable (sometimes unwilling) to fix it (they have actually made things worst). The vehicle has been in the shop for months and months on end. I want to make sure I make a full disclosure of all the issues. Let's be clear. While there have been a few issue with the chassis, these were all handled by Mercedes in a timely fashion. Mercedes has been great to work with -- I recommend the Mercedes platform. Winnebago has been just the opposite -- I would recommend that you avoid Winnebago. They are really consumer unfriendly - particularly to seniors . Here is a list of some of the issues we have had with our Winnebago: 1) Slide-out issues: a. Molding off b) hangs up c) tore off couch kick panel d) tore off Alde heater bracket e) tore and damaged flooring f) Leaks in the slightest rain 2) No access to water pump/filter 3) No way to add chlorine to perform water purification -- no gravity feed water filler 4) Shower Issues: a) leaks badly b) "Shower Lock" locks you in the shower c) Shower Floor "oil cans" d) Bottom trim missing e) Shower surround does not extend to shower door - leaks 5) Bath sliding door off track 6) Trim falling off over bath door 7) Alde heater issues: a) Inoperative (means no heat!) b) Noisy (The Alde is suppose to be silent) c) Tubing off d) Drainage issue 8) Cabinet drawer does not latch/lock 9) Fender flair loose 10) Windshield privacy curtain does not fully close 11) Entry step screw missing - trip hazard 12) LP Filler access issues 13) Blackwater gauge does not work 14) Transmission issues - Mercedes is monitoring this issue. 15) Front-end shimmy - fixed by Mercedes 16) Electric door locks inoperative - fixed by Mercedes 17) Shade over couch falls off 18) Navigation system shuts down 19) Coach batteries are completely dead and will not charge. 20) Winnebago issued a recall because part of the propane system installed on our coach might fail and could cause "an explosion or fire." After they "replaced" the defective parts, the system leaked more. We had to shut off the entire system to keep from being asphyxiated or blown up! A tank leaks out in a few days. 21. Airbag recall. Mercedes will replace. Some of these items may have fixed - just got van out of a 40 day stay in the shop (10th time) - haven't checked it out. LP and Elec systems are definitely NOT working.
