Tired of looking at coaches that look used & abused? I promise you this is the nicest Destination for sale in the U.S.. We are particular, meticulous, non-smoking owners with no kids and treat our coach like the $200k+ Motor Home it is. After an exhaustive search for a loaded, pristine example of this specific year & model, we had the good fortune to find this coach in 2014 in AZ with 19k original miles on it. It's original owner - a traveling sales guy - used it more as a "hotel" than a motor home. He slept, showered, and ate in it, & that's pretty much it. The original plastic is still on the carpets. That's how new it looks inside. He traveled alone, & the condition of the coach reflects just how little use it actually got. We've taken just two extended trips to CA to visit her adult children & stayed in upscale RV Resorts in San Diego & Newport Beach for a month at a time, so this coach has had an unusually easy life. If you've been looking for a pre-owned Coach that still looks & runs like new, you've found it. If you're unfamiliar with the 2008 Winnebago Destination, here's a quick tutorial. Believe it or not, many RV's share the same chassis as your local UPS truck. Workhorse decided to start from scratch & design a modern RV platform that would change the RV Industry, & succeeded with the "UFO" Platform (Universal Fuel Option). There's tons of info on the internet so you can see how glowingly owners & the RV Industry speak of these chassis'. I've always been a "car guy" so I was a bit intimidated by the idea of owning a coach with an engine I was entirely unfamiliar with. I wanted to be able to recognize any "strange sounds" my coach made while we were out on the road & diesels make strange sounds even when they're running perfectly. After conducting exhaustive research & finding nothing but positive reviews, we decided on the 2008 Winnebago Destination Gas "Pusher" . They drive like a dream, are trouble free, & are much quieter, cleaner, and cheaper to own than Diesel coaches. And when you factor in the difference in fuel prices, get the same MPG as a Diesel. It's a no brainer. They only offered the European style curved cabinetry for one model year - 2008. Due to the economic decline, they went back to standard "raised panel" cabinets & a more "traditional" interior in 2009. The RV industry was on it's heels - many companies closed up shop, & even Winnebago narrowed their product line. This model with this interior was only made for ONE YEAR, so they're very rare as Coaches go - it took more than half a year to find one in the condition we wanted. Our goal was to find one that looked brand new inside & out, & by the grace of God & some hard work, we did. We just bought a condo in Mexico, so we'll be spending half our time there, or we'd keep this forever. Congrats. You found your new coach. And it even comes with a full Good Sam's extended service contract. Smart Car "Brabus" Edition and custom Aluminum trailer available separately.
