2008 Winnebago Chalet 29T, 2008 29' (which fits the limit for a lot of National and State parks) Winnebago Chalet 229TR Class C Motorhome * 60K Miles on the Ford E450 V10 Chassis * 230 Hours on the Onan Generator * High Tow Rating with Class 3 hitch * Large Storage Capacity (a lot of motor homes with slide-outs have unrealistic weight restrictions - with this motor home you can carry much more!) * Seatbelts and sleeping space for 7 adults * Lots of upgrades including Two swiveling flat screen TVs with DVD players Forward and Rear * Brand new awning * Wireless Tire Pressure and Temperature monitoring system * Sleep number queen bed in back bedroom * Ducted AC This is an awesome RV - it is extremely comfortable and there is a ton of space. It is ready to roll on your summer adventures! (The RV is currently stored in San Marcos but we are located in Rancho Bernardo) Almost identical to 2008 Winnebago Access 29T We got this to visit National Parks with my in-laws and slept 7 comfortably. If you have fewer it is perfect too because if you have ever taken a car trip in a smaller vehicle - having more space to spread the kids out (and not even needing to set up beds) is great! We have installed flat screen tvs (with built-in dvd) with IR transmitters (which means the people in the main area can watch tv (or if you bring a game set-up play games) using wireless headsets. The side windows provide awesome viewing and have day/night shades. We replaced the faucet with a real delta faucet (which is wonderful compared the typical rv faucets.) We also added foam pads that make the beds super comfortable. What I really like about this rv is: - it doesn't have slideouts - originally I wanted them but they can be the source of extra problems (my in-laws had them on several of their rvs) and they weigh a lot. When we looked at RVs with slideouts (including Winnebagos) - we could only load at most an additional 1000 pounds (which sounds like a lot but it includes the weight of the people coming along, the water, fuel, and propane, and waste, any clothing, food, pots, pans, blankets, bikes, tools,...) This RV has a great weight for loading (The GCWR is 20,000lbs and the GVWR is 14,500lbs) - This rv also has amazing storage space inside and out. I love their cupboards - I give everyone some of those fabric cubes to pack in and they fit perfectly. There is storage everywhere. The back outdoor storage is huge. - Winnebago RVs are rock solid - they actually take a version of each model of rv - flip them upside down and drop them (video of Winnebago flipping one of these models available on youtube) and figure out what went wrong and fix that - If you compare them to other similar rvs you can really feel the difference in engineering. I am really sad about selling but we had great memories and now we have kids in college... $32,900.00
