Divorce forces sale. No reasonable offer refused. This is a rust free, custom, 3 knob, capable, Syncro that has been built for off and on road adventure. Minor dents, dings, and "stripes" from little off road use :). Of course, I thought I would keep this forever so it's built that way. This was built to accommodate my wife and I for extended, off-grid, trips (25 Mpg and 70mph). As with any custom project, there are just too many features to list. Most notable are: 17k miles on a rebuilt 03 ALH TDI (had 110k when rebuilt). It has a PROGRAMMABLE Kerma TDI ECU (comes with programmer up to 150 hp), new turbocharger, upgraded Bosio nozzles, new 11mm pump, air to air intercooler with fan, and Donaldson air intake. Speedhut gauges (speedo, tach, fuel, oil temp, water temp, tranny temp, boost, EGT, and vacuum). Rebuilt trans by AA transaxle with taller 3rd and 4th. 944 CV's and shafts in the rear. Front and rear lockers with decoupler. It has powder coated, 1 ton, lifted springs, with extra air bags in the rear (installed but not in use), and powder coated (to match) gowesty 2" lift in the front. OME nitro chargers all around. 16" Burley rear trailing arms and Burley Upper control arms up front. Burley rear disc brake kit and upgraded front discs. Power flex bushings all around and a upgraded T3 Techniques anti-sway bar up front. 9800lbs Superwinch with 50ft of synthetic line. Front skid plate that swings down for extra storage. Rear engine skid plate. Westfalia top has been installed for head room. Sleeps two with memory foam mattress. Bottom bed is raised for storage. All the bumpers, tire carriers, kitchen, bed, winch holder, and sliders were custom made by Jon Ament (formerly Das Mule)(currently with Mule Expeditions). Sound proofing and insulation throughout (Lizard Skin). Heated, Recaro bucket seats. 200 Amp hour AGM batteries, Blue Seas battery separator, 80 watt solar panel with 25ft extension cord, 15 amp Sunsaver MPPT charge controller, 20 amp Xantrex 3 stage charger, and a Xantrex 1500w inverter. Upgraded alternator (I'm not sure of the size) so that the house and chassis batteries can be charged by 110/solar/driving. Ceramic, 2 micron, water filter. 2 Dometic chest fridge/freezers (80qt and 35qt). Sealed Wallas diesel heater/cooktop plumbed from the vehicle's fuel tank. Propane fired hot water exterior shower. ARB awning and mosquito net room and ARB air compressor. Hilift jack. 8 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs (225/75/16) and 7 Mercedes aluminum wheels. Wasserstopper and window insulation. Pull pal and 2" Fiberglas bridging ladders. Extra fuel tanks. Seats and mattress recovered in Sunbrella material for stain and water resistance. PIAA and IPF off-road lights.
