Hello,I am posting an add for a 2005 Viking 2471ST Pop Up Camper.I purchased this unit at the end of the season last year, used. I have the title (clean). Unfortunately, what I did not know is that its not the hitch capacity, its the engine capacity. So, my little brand new 4 cylinder car (rav 4) cannot tow this bad boy beast. I do not know the dry weight at the time.  The GVWR is 2350 (amount you can tow with your "stuff" inside).Understand - this was my first pop up purchase.I contacted (via phone) a dealer to see if I can trade it in for a smaller unit and I was told most likely not because it is considered a "modified" pop-up. I will explain:When purchased, I was unaware that the Air Conditioner had been removed. So, it has none. It was patched extremely well. This makes it modified. When I saw the patch, I assumed it was the smoke detector location (I was wrong). When I purchased the unit, the original fridge (ice box) had been replaced with a normal dorm fridge with a plug in (not propane like the original).  This too makes it modified. Although nothing materially had been modified, just out with one and in with another.Everything else is in tact. 2 King size beds, gaucho, grill (attaches to the outside as well), table that converts to a twin bed (slightly wider than a twin, but not a full), toilet, heater, hot water heater, 1 battery, 1 propane tank, exterior storage box, brake assist. If you google 2005 Viking 2471ST, you will come up with a video of a 2004. My unit is exactly the same (color, layout, and all), except it is a manual (crank) lift, not an automatic. The only thing I know for sure that this absolutely needs is a new wiring harness (from trailer to vehicle). The wiring harness on the unit when purchased had been modified to pigtail (6 Pole Square on trailer end) to a 4 pin and jumpered with a 7 blade round. Yes - I said it correctly! This needs to have a 6 Pole Square to a 7 Blade Round. This is something I can do on my own and would have cost ~$50. The wire as it is now, if you plug it in (correctly) the 4 pin is hot... don't touch... you may very well use the existing wiring and just remove the 4 pin portion. The box is 7' wide, 12' long closed (does not include the length of the tongue).  Opened length is approximately 24'.  The awning is attached.  Price is negotiable..
