For sale: A Benroy (5 x 10) Woody Camper I am the designer and the person who built this camper. I've used it for multiple trips however, my family purchased a larger 30-foot camper so we're putting this one up for sale. Here are the specifics of this camper: It is built on a 5x10 aluminum frame with 15-inch road ready tires. A spare tire is included. The trailer tongue is extended for easier towing. The axle is rated 3500 lbs so it easily carries the camper and four people. The trailer has brakes and all required lights (LED) for it to be road-ready. The fenders are solid steel painted with rust-resistant paint. The camper houses a queen size bed and two 5-foot bunk beds over the feet of the queen sleepers. (We use a blow up mattress for easy storage and so we can use the interior for storage during travel. The blow up mattress is not included. I'm sure you could get a gel mattress in if you want. The space is certainly big enough.) The bunks are 5 feet long and 26 inches deep. The entire camper is built from oak and oak sheet good. The secondary wood is cypress. The exterior finish is two-part marine grade epoxy with UV protection. The interior finish is poly. Interior lighting is battery powered push lights. One on each bunk and one behind the TV for reading. There is a large reversible fan in the roof of the camper. (Fantastic brand fan) Power: The camper is equipped with a 30-amp plug and a 12-amp plug housed in the front box. (The 30 amp runs the entire camper. The 12 amp runs into the kitchen so you can run two heating appliances at the same time. A coffee maker and toaster simultaneously for example.) The camper is cable ready and comes with a digital antenna. (The cable is permanently hooked up. The digital antennae is free standing and is not permanently hooked up. You must plug it in when you want to use it.) There are two televisions in the camper. There are two blu-ray DVD players in the camper. They are permanently hooked into the TVs. The galley in the back of the camper is oak ply veneered completely in cherry. Lower cabinets are on full extension drawers. There is a refrigerator in the kitchen portion. The roof and front section is .040 aluminum attached with trucking silicone tape and rubbered screws. The doors are manufactured aluminum and come with deadbolts and half windows that slide down. The doors allow for an air conditioning system where a window unit sits against the door and blows into the living space. It's surprisingly comfortable. (The air conditioner is not included but the stand to hold the room sized air conditioner is.) Two X-jack stabilizers are included. Please note: There is no plumbing in the camper. Please contact me with any questions or offers. I can send along photos of any portion of the camper you wish to see. Please note there is a large fleur de lis on the back of the camper right now that reads “Who Dat Woody.” We're from Louisiana, you know. Saints fans. It is a sticker and can be easily removed if you wish. Please note, I will not deliver. You will need to pick the camper up from Hammond, Louisiana – north of New Orleans. Thank you for looking - Joe
