I am selling my baby....you ask why? It is because I have TWO and can really only justify owning one. This was purchased by me a year ago in it's original condition and was totally rebuilt by my husband and myself. It is amazing....100's of hours of work and thousands spent (I have receipts to show you our work). Prior to this purchase I was ripped off for $2,800 on a vintage trailer that was a piece of crap that blew over in a wind storm and died a ugly death. I WILL NOT RIP you off, I will disclose EVERYTHING....no surprises. I make my living selling on ebay and have wonderful feedback...you will be happy I guarantee with this trailer. This is a solid trailer, don't be taken by an ad for a vintage trailer that hasn't been renovated you will be sorely disappointed. This one is in beautiful condition and road ready. Come out to Arizona to pick it up and drive it home! You are bidding on a 18 Foot 1965 Vintage Traveleze Travel Trailer, with a restored interior and a EYE CATCHING retro exterior. It is a one of a kind trailer and before I enter into the Barrett Jackson Car Auction for January I thought I would try to sell it on EBAY. It is a speciality item and not right for everyone. I belong to a women's adventure club "Sister's on the Fly" and this trailer was restored for me to take on sister adventures. This trailer has seen a lot of FUN! I truly hope that the new owner will appreciate her as much as I have. Her name is VINTAGE JEWEL (her name is on her side). She weighs 3,500 pounds and can sleep 4 according to the original manufacturer...however, I think it really can sleep two comfortably. There are two dinette sets that can set side by side with cushions surrounding them....or as my pictures below show one made up bed/or cushions and one dinette set up. There is a separate kitchen with a propane stove, counter area and kitchen sink. TONS of cabinet space, and extra storage created under the cushions that I haven't even used. One of the dinette tables was redone with a vintage/retro travel post card theme and acrylic plexi placed on top (tiny smudge at the end)...the built in 3 drawer cabinet near the front door also has a similar theme. There is a separate bathroom with a shower stall (have taken out the shower plumbing) I used this area for storage for my clothes. Can easily put plumbing back in....The original Traveleze had a huge black water tank that was rather low to the ground...we took it out and did not have a new custom one put in (afraid that a rock would damage it like the previous one was damaged). I elected to use a Thetford toiled with a built in black water tank (popular in Europe). There is a bunk bed that slides in and out I also have the original ladder..... I use the bunk bed for my GLAMPING supplies. New propane tanks and entire propane system checked out by a certified installer. The outside has been painted and a WRAP was custom designed on the outside. It has a strip of multicolors around the body of the trailer and three fun vintage "old signs" were designed on the outside. The signs have various Mae West sayings "It is better to be looked over than to be over looked" on the drivers side, the passenger side says "I use to be Snow White but I drifted" and on the back "Anything worth doing is worth doing slowly" along with the Sister on the Fly logo and my sister number (a wrap place can easily remove that). The front has a amazing custom logo that is above the window saying 1965 Traveleze. Her name Vintage Jewel is on her side.
