2011 MPG 183 purchased new in 2012. The MPG trailers feature high quality construction of fiberglass over an aluminum sidewall framing. The trailer has the optional Cabana room which is new in the bag and has never been used. It also has an Equalizer E-2 weight distributing hitch installed on it, for safety and ease of towing. The trailer has less than 2000 miles on it. The 183 features a u-shaped dinette that converts into a queen bed. It also has two bunk beds that lift to provide additional storage. The fit and finish of the MPG's interior is better than most RVs. All seams are caulked with a clear sealant, storage compartments have dedicated lighting, cushions are higher density foam, etc. The 183 has one small slide and has a surprising amount of storage space, both inside and out. It's galley style kitchen has a lot of counter space. The trailer has air conditioning, refrigerator with freezer, furnace, water heater, microwave, DVD-CD player, and a spot to mount a small flat screen TV (no TV is included). It has a small fiberglass enclosed bathroom with shower. It has a regular RV toilet and septic system, as opposed to a port-a-potty. The trailer has a spare tire and carrier. The cabana room is a tent enclosure that attaches to the side of the trailer. We never setup it up, but it was advertised to be able to function as an awning, as a screen porch, or a full sided tent enclosure. The E-2 hitch was considered perhaps unnecessary for this size trailer by some. But this $ 485 addition makes the trailer tow straight and easy. We have received numerous compliments on the look of our cute little trailer. If you've only experienced tent camping or camping in a pop-up trailer, you'll find camping in a this MPG trailer to be a very enjoyable experience. We've camped in 30 degrees with the MPG's propane furnace keeping the interior warm and toasty. We also camped in 100 degrees with AC cooling us off after outside activities. Setting up camp is as easy as backing the trailer in, and pulling out a chair. This trailer would make an excellent unit for a couple or especially for a young family. This easy to tow, quality built trailer, should provide its new owners with many wonderful camping experiences. More information on the 183 and the MPG brand can be found on numerous videos on You Tube.
