THIS 2007 WAS THE LAST YEAR MERCEDES MADE THE 5 CYLINDER DIESEL ENGINE. ECONOMY IS INCREDIBLE! WE AVERAGED 23-25 MPG ON EVERY TRIP SOMETIMES GETTING 28 MPT ON A TANK. EVEN TOWING OUR JEEP WOULD ONLY BRING THE MPG DOWN 4 OR 5 MILES. OF COURSE, I DON'T HOTDOG BUT USUALLY HOLD MY SPEED AT 55-60. THE ONLY TROUBLE I'VE HAD SINCE I BOUGHT IT IN 2007 BRAND NEW WAS A GASKET LEAK WHICH WAS REPAIRED AT MINIMUM COST, AND ON OUR LAST VACATION, I DIDN'T NOTICE THE RED LIGHT ON THE DASH AND WHEN I FINALLY REALILIZED IT WAS A WARNING LIGHT WE WERE IN A DANGEROUS POSITION TO STOP SO I WENT A LITTLE FARTHER AND FRIED THE ENGINE. $12,900 LATER WE WERE ON OUR WAY WITH A BRAND NEW ENGINE! SO, WHILE THE VEHICLE HAS 47,600 MILES ON IT, THE ENGINE HAS LESS THAN 5000 MILES. JUST BARELY BROKEN IN. MY LOSS--YOUR GAIN! I RECENTLY HAD ALL FOUR TIRES REPLACED SO RUBBER IS LIKE NEW! ENTIRE INTERIOR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT LEISURE VANS THE COMPANY USED ALL TOP GRADE MATERIALS. VAN LENGHT IS 18 FEET SO IT IS STREET LEGAL AND YOU CAN PARK IT ANYWHERE. ELECTRIC BED FOLDS DOWN TO MAKE A QUEEN-SIZED BED. FOLDED UP A BENCH SEAT. TABLE CAN BE INSTALLED WHEN BED IS UP. ONAN GENERATOR HAS ONLY ABOUT 200 HOURS ON IT AND EFFICIENTY COOLS THE CABIN. TWO KEYLESS ENTRY REMOTES COME WITH THE VEHICLE. TOWING CAPACITY IS 5000 LBS. I'VE TOWED MY JEEP ALL OVER THE SOUTH WEST. I'VE NEVER FELT A LACK OF POWER. NADA BOOKS THIS VEHICLE OUT AT $53,071 LOW RETAIL AND $63,994 AVERAGE RETAIL. MY PRICE IS VERY REASONABLE ESPECIALLY IN VIEW OF THE FACT THAT IT HAS A NEW ENGINE WITH LESS THAN 5000 MILES.
