The 2018 Tiffin Phaeton XSH 40IH is a luxurious Class A diesel motorhome designed for comfort and high-end living on the road. Built on a PowerGlide chassis with an Allison transmission, the XSH (Extra Storage Height) version offers increased basement storage capacity, making it ideal for extended travel. Powered by a robust fuel-injected Cummins 380 HP engine, it ensures smooth and reliable performance even on long journeys.
The interior showcases premium craftsmanship with high-quality materials, polished finishes, and elegant styling. The 40IH floor plan features a spacious layout, including a master bedroom with a queen-size bed, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a second half-bath for convenience. When the RV's diesel fuel is low while the generator is running, the generator will cut off so that there's enough fuel to keep it from running on empty. There is a central power lock/unlock feature for all external storage compartments. There are three controls in various locations to start and stop the generator.
The exterior has full-body paint, power awnings with LED lighting, and an integrated entertainment center. The large awning has a high wind detector to prevent damage from windy conditions.
