We are finally ready to reluctantly sell our fifth wheel. It has been our 'home' for 5 years as we traveled and built our house. But now that we're moved into our house, we don't really need the fifth wheel any longer. It has been a wonderful home, but I think we're ready to let it go to someone else who can use it now. It really is a "home", not just a weekend-er rig. It is an incredibly well built and well insulated unit. We lived in it both in hot climates (southern Texas) and the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming. It was easy to live in and heat / cool no matter where we were staying. We are the second owners of this fifth wheel. The first 7 years, it was parked on a golf course. We converted it over to being "off-grid" (solar panels, charge controller, battery bank, inverter, monitoring panels, etc). If interested, we can sell it either "as-is" with the solar panels and all, or take them off an give a discount. The cooling unit on the fridge has failed, and I've already gotten a new unit. We just haven't put it in yet. We can either give a little discount and you install it yourself, or we can get it put together and have it ready to go. The furniture included will be the two la-z-boys, the brown loveseat, the dining room table and chairs (4), and the bed (with matching comforter/pillows). We also have a Reese fifth wheel hitch that we can sell as well if interested. And if someone really wants the whole package, I think we could be convinced to sell our 1999 F250 SuperDuty Ford to go along with it. It has air bags in the back and suspension was done specifically for hauling the fifth wheel. I guess all I'm saying is there are options, and we're flexible. I'd like to sell the unit and get the space in our garage before winter comes (yes, it has been parked inside anytime it isn't out on the road). We had a great company help us pull it a few times and I can certainly recommend them and help organize that, if you need it.
