We are selling our Toyota Sunrader and it's absolutely stunning. I have gone over every single inch of this motorhome and either refinished or replaced all of it. We currently use it all the time and it has just traveled from Ketchikan Alaska to the Mexican border to Colorado without a single issue. It has 6 new industrial all terrain tires, new exhaust system, fresh tune up with plugs, cap, rotor, air filter, and oil service. You can jump in it right now and drive to the tip of Maine without hesitation. I have averaged 17 miles per gallon and one of the very best parts is that ALL of the other Toyota motorhomes came with a 13 gallon gas tank but mine comes with a 23 gallon tank so you have an extra 170 miles of range. I have taken a different Sunrader around the entire circumference of the United States and that small tank is a real pain to deal with, I can't even describe how nice it is to have the larger gas tank. Also I have really liked that it has a manual transmission because you can control the power much better and it really helps boost the gas mileage when you are in the mountains or around town. I've owned every kind of Toyota motorhome (except the Chinook:), and I believe the Sunrader to be the best... The fiberglass cap shell design prevents water damage or leaks and is incredibly strong. All of the other motorhomes leak and creak overtime and the corners of the other coaches rot because of the wood framing, not to mention the maintenance is significantly easier on the Sunrader because you aren't having to reseam-seal the roof every season. When I started the remodel of the interior, the inside was already really nice but very dated so I stripped everything off so it was down to just bare wood. Then I sanded everything and vacuumed and washed every surface so it was completely free of saw dust. Next, I painted 4 coats of primer and 4 coats of acrylic finish paint. Then I replaced every knob on the cupboards with new modern pulls and painted the insides of all the cabinets. To finished off the cabinetry I removed all the old chipped edging on the counter top and table and replaced it with brand new heat bonded edging so I would not come loose. I removed the old carpet and installed a full floating hard wood floor. To finish off the floor I installed quarter round on the edges and installed aluminum flashing on the transitions, now it looks great. I decided that the two front windows made it waaay too hot to sleep on the upper bunk because every morning the sun would come out and turn it into a tropical green house. I built a cover for the windows and carpeted the whole upstairs with wall carpet it looks like that's the way it came from the factory so I'm completely happy with the way it turned out. Now it stays much more comfortable and darker for sleeping. I finished off the upstairs with brand new sheets, pillows, and linens. I took off all the range hood, oven door and steel panels and painted all of them to match with a hammered steel paint and they also turned out wonderful. For the entry way I lowered the first step by 2 inches to give you a bit more head room and then installed 3/4 inch rubber over everything. This is the same rubber they use in horse trailers so it will never wear out. I finished the entry way by boxing in all the corners with aluminum to give it a classy and ultra durable finish. It even has a convenient light built into the step so you don't trip at night. I brought the cushions to a professional upholstery shop and had them refinished with an extremely durable and modern fabric so now it looks like a modern swanky apartment, I also took some of the same upholstery material and lined the face of the fridge so it matches the cushions. I removed all the old light coves and replaced all the old bulbs with new ones and also replaced all the light lenses with new ones. I serviced the water heater and I also just replaced the fresh water pump in the coach with a really high quality Surflo system and replaced the water valve on the toilet. I also serviced the high pressure water valve with new o-rings so it would not drain off the pressure in the system over night. We decided that the coach could use a little entertainment so I installed a 24 inch flat screen/ DVD player combo. Right now it only runs on shore power but if you hook up a small inverter you can run it off battery power as well. I also bought two brand new pioneer speakers and installed them in the back so you can enjoy better sound quality from the radio. These can easily be wired to plug right into the back of the TV for surround sound if you want. I decided to throw the old curtains away and sew new ones so I found some really high quality insulated light blocking curtains, then I cut and sewed them to fit the coach windows and replaced all the old cheap curtain rods with modern high quality rods. I removed the instructional sticker off the roof ac and repainted to match the interior, then replaced the sticker for a factory looking finish. The roof ac works great and looks great now. I have had quite a few Toyota motorhomes because we like to buy and restore one every summer and I can confidently say that this Sunrader is easily one of the best in the nation. I want just an easy cash sale so please no trades or checks of any kind. 1987 Toyota Sunrader. Only 88k miles. Sleeps 4. Everything works. 14 MPG Highway. Fridge, Stove, Oven, A/C, Heat, Hot water, Toilet, Shower, Sinks, Closet, Couch, Table. Runs great! Great camper for solo or small group trips. I bought it from a friend less than a year ago for a "snowbird" trip to Florida where I lived out of it on the road and at my destinations for several months. It's very comfortable to travel and live in! Now I'm settling back into life and looking for something more commuter friendly, so sadly the camper has to go. Your lucky day! It is with a heavy heart that I must sell my TOY. I am moving and can only take two vehicles, and unfortunately the TOY is not one of them. It's in excellent condition, has only 64,000 miles on it, and has been driven carefully and owned by senior citizens. I am the third owner, the first having had it for over 20 years and put only 40,000 miles on it. There are no rips, tears or stains. It has a new alternator and the tires are good. The rear axle has been fixed per the original problems some of the Sunraders had. The floor plan is the rear kitchen, middle couch with table and booth opposite, and the upper double bed, which I have replaced with a $500 memory foam mattress. This is a clean RV ready to take you on your adventures. We loved traveling in it. The gas mileage is great! It's perfect for a couple.

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: 1985 Sunrader Silverada TD, CG 21ft Micro Mini Motor Home (Class C) on a Toyota Truck Chassis with a 2.5L (22RE) I-4 Fuel Injected engine and automatic trans with overdrive. This unit has a Rear Bathroom, Center Kitchen/Dinette and a Front Over-cab Queen sized Bed. Sleeps up to 4. TRUCK CHASSIS: Has 6 new tires with less than 1000 miles on them. Recent new battery. Rebuilt Transmission (2014) has less than 1000 miles on it. Cold Truck cab air conditioner. It has rear air cushion ride, an in-dash AM/FM radio with cassette player. Has CB Radio (condition unknown). At one time it had Cruise Control but previous Owner/Owners rendered it inoperable (parts removed). Everything else with the truck chassis checks out good. Runs great and gets good gas mileage (17.4 mpg last time I checked it). It has the 6-lug 1-ton rear floating axle. SMOG exempt in Texas! TRUCK REPAIRS: Manifold gasket replaced (07/11/2015). Steering Box replaced (11/24/2014). Transmission rebuilt and oil pan gasket replaced (02/19/2014 at 222240 miles). Compression test on engine checked good and replaced #3 Fuel Injector (12/26/2014). Oil & Filter changed (07/2015). RV EXTERIOR: All of the front, rear and side marker lights have been replaced with new LED style lights. A new entry door step has been installed. Roof Top Air Conditioning unit is in very good condition and keeps the interior cool during the hottest part of a Texas summer day. Previous owner resealed all of the windows (sloppy job) and painted the front windows black. RV INTERIOR: The interior of the RV has been completely remodeled. Every thing on the inside is new excepting the Microwave and the Electric Refrigerator of which both work fine. I gutted the cabin and began anew with NEW insulation and paneling (on the walls and ceiling). NEW underlayment and Tile on floor. All NEW 12 volt lighting and 110 volt duplex outlets. The bathroom has a NEW toilette, a NEW tub with shower and NEW exhaust fan. The kitchen has a NEW euro-style two burner LP Stove with NEW vent hood, a NEW sink, all NEW counter-top and cabinets. All NEW combination table/bed with NEW top that matches counter-tops and benches with NEW cushion covers. The Cab-over sleeping area has been reinforced with new plywood and the cushions have NEW covers. A NEW On-demand style LP hot water heater with electric (D cell battery) ignition has been installed. All NEW water plumbing done with Pex Pipe. A NEW water pump. A NEW 1500 watt electric heater installed for those chilly nights. A NEW Monitor panel with pump switch and all new sensors on tanks. (Two (2) panels, one installed and the other a spare. Both of which do not show tank info but pump switch works.) Set up to run on Shore Power or an Electric Generator. Has wiring for Auxilary Battery but one has not been installed. The interior height of the cabin is 5' 10" except under the air conditioning unit where it is 5' 7", so if you are tall (as I am) you will have to be careful not to bump your head. OTHER: Have over $12,500 (purchase price plus all repairs). Need to sell it and try to recoup some of my investment. GENERAL: Vehicle is sold "As Is - Where Is". There is no Warranty Expressed or Implied for this Vehicle.

This 18' mini motorhome is powered by the Toyota 20r, carbureted 4 cylinder with 72,515 original miles. It has a 4 speed manual transmission, the shell is fiberglass, which is a huge advantage when it comes to these motorhomes. It will include a carburetor rebuild kit, but probably will not need it, as it starts right up and seems to run fine. It could probably use a tune up, as the last time it was run was in July, however it fired right up the other day and was driven for 40 minutes on the highway with no issues. It leaks no fluids. The radiator is relatively new. The camper is watertight, floor seems strong, refrigerator works, sink and toilet look good. Heater works. A/c for camper does not work. There is some rust and small holes on engine hood. Two plexiglass windows above the cab probably need to be replaced as they have some light spiderwebbing. Interior is basically gutted with the exception of the appliances mentioned. Ladder on back is missing. I can only post 8 pictures, so contact me and I will email you more if interested. I would like $3,000 or best offer, may consider trades. This RV is located in Berryville, VA.

There is a link to a video at the end of the description, just click on the play button. Buy now or best offer.... 1985 Toyota Sunrader with 64K original miles. Automatic with overdrive, tilt wheel and power steering. There is A/c in the cab but needs recharged and the compressor works. Clean engine no oil or any leaks, starts right up and sounds great! Has slight hesitation in idle only probably from sitting the winter, should just need gas ran through or minimal maintenance. Shifts fine and has lots of power and very peppy. Exterior-- Front bumper has a little dent in it but still shows well. No dents in the truck itself and paint looks pretty good. Could be buffed/polished and shine even brighter. There are very little spots of surface rust here and there and some bigger ones on the side mirrors. Needs new windshield wiper rubber and that about it. windows both roll down, vent wings move freely and all are solid. Chrome running boards look good and are straight. The fiberglass camper is in good condition with minimal wear. There is a small crack on the passenger side behind the cab as shown in pictures. Not a hard fix and does not affect the integrity of the camper. The door/cover for the hot water heater could use repainted and there is a bent hinge on the door. As you can see in the photos it is not on but I have it. The ladders is solid but has a few dings and wear. Roof is solid and and vents are intact and not cracked. It looks like it could use some caulking around some of the areas. I lost the keys to the locks for the small doors that access the back hatch and the battery. You can have keys made or buy these new and they are inexpensive. There is a little piece of rubber trim on the drivers side that needs pushed back in. Some of the lenses on the running lights are missing and need replaced. The color is good on the fiberglass and not to dull. You can wet sand these fiberglass shells and polish them out to a shine. As you can see the Camper window on the top front is cracked. It has two new hub caps in the rear, one cracked on the front left and missing the passengers side. INTERIOR-- The front cab is really nice, clean and solid. The dash looks great with no cracks. Seats are in great shape with no tears and easy clean material. Carpet is clean and has no funky smells. Has a CD player stereo with cab and coach speakers that are all in working condition. Power steering, tilt wheel, automatic with overdrive. Dash looks great and all gauges and lights are working. Front top sleeper above cab is nice condition. The cushions are in great condition and the foam is solid and there are no rips or tears. The right side wall s and wood show some water staining I left a window open and some water got in and stained it some. Does not not look to bad and when the cushion is in you can hardly see anything. There are no leaks in the shell and ceiling looks great throughout the whole camper. The rest of the campers shows real well and only needs light finish work. It is missing 7 of the plastic light covers, some were cracked and frail so I tossed them. The bathroom door needs a new latch and does not stay shut. There is some tape residue on the door where it was held shut at one time. Some of the handles on the cabinet doors are broke or a few missing. The cabinets on the ceiling were screwed back up with new screws. When I got it they were sagging some. There is a plastic pipe elbow on the back of the toilet that needs replaced and one of the lines that goes to the bathroom sink is split. I have not tested the fridge but I was told by the previous owner that it was working. There is no propane in the tanks and they will need filled. I think I tested he stove last year and it was working fine. The water pump works and so does the sinks, shower and toilet, just needs the previous repairs mentioned to be 100% The previous owner said the original heater had gone out and his parents added a extra one as you can see in the pictures He said it works fine but I have not tested it myself. The carpet and the cushions all around are in nice condition with no rips or tears. The interior ceiling lights on the passenger side underneath the cabinets are not working and I have no idea why. All of the left side ones work and the one over the dinner table and in the bathroom work. The trim around the dinner table is loose in some spots and coming off. Overall the Sunrader is in real good condition, has low miles and you can feel it. The drive train, suspension etc... all feel real good and it has the 6 lug rear end dually. Has brand new front brake pads. The light lenses, locks and most of the finish parts it needs are very inexpensive and easy to replace. This is a low mile sunrader that just needs light cosmetic attention inside and out and most likely deferred maintenance on the appliances. I though I was going to use this motor home and go to California but plans changed. I have to many toys campers etc.. and I am listing them all just don't have the time and need to thin out.. Rv must be picked up within 2 weeks after listing has ended. A non refundable deposit of $500.00 must be made via paypal within 24 hours. Balance is due within 3 days via bank transfer, cash or paypal. I have a clear open Oregon title from the prior owners. I will be out of town from June 8th-jun18th. It is still available for pickup while I am out of town and I can arrange for someone to meet you or a transporter for pickup. If you have any questions please ask. If you would like to contact me by phone feel free to call 801-898-5865. I reserve the right to sell locally also.
