This rig has the workhorse Triton V10 6.8 liter engine which offers great power for cruising over mountain passes and the low end torque for off roading. The 4x4 conversion was installed by Agile Off Road out of California at 86,000 miles. This system uses the F-series HD independent suspension. This van was designed and meticulously built by a 43 yr veteran of van converting and owned one of the premier van conversion companies is the U.S. One of the most unique part of this van is the electric mechanism that raises the second story top. It does it with a hand remote or an inside button that activates duel winch motors for an extremely smooth motion. The top also has a very large living area inside when raised. The bed is 54x76 and can hold 350 lbs. the height is 40 in. tall, which gives you lots of moving around area. When lowered it can still carry your surfboard, lumber, snowboards, etc. The mechanism to raise and lower is of high grade steel tubing that is rock solid in the high winds. It has 6 large screened window, 6 lights on a dimmer switch and a front storage area for all your essential needs while camping in the second story.
