The owner's build plan was focused on maximizing function, spaciousness, and storage while keeping materials as lightweight as possible. On top of that, they built everything to be rattle-resistant, mostly using vibration-resistant screws and sufficient amounts of high-quality adhesives. This is a complete custom build from top to bottom. From ensuring the roof was 100% sealed and waterproofed to the custom cabinetry. The current owner built every screw, board, and feature onboard. Finish materials- Bamboo plywood for the floor and cabinets. They used Japanese Shu Sugi Ban- professionally burned and stained Japanese Cypress for trim and accent walls. The bus is also fully framed and insulated with sheep's wool from a local company as a healthier, more environmentally friendly, and hypoallergenic alternative to fiberglass.
