We are selling our 1988 Suncrest 29ft Class A Motorhome. It has a Chevy 454 engine that runs great. Sleeps 5-6, Good tires, 52,xxx miles, newer fridge/freezer, cold roof a/c, newer stove/oven. We bought this a few months back and have done a lot of work to it but after taking it on our first camping trip this last weekend my wife realized she is scared to drive something so large. We are going to go with a pull behind instead. So all of our hard work and repairs will be passed along to the new owners. Since we have owned it we have done the following work to it: Engine- Installed 2 new fuel pumps, rebuilt the carburetor, new gas lines, tune-up, new plugs & wires, cap & rotor, fresh oil change and new fuel filter. Engine runs like a champ! Interior/Exterior- Interior walls from cab to kitchen were torn out and rebuilt, ceiling torn down and rebuilt, 5 windows taken out and re-sealed/re-seated/re-caulked, Fiberglass roof has been repaired and reinforced where leaks were present and re-sealed where they were not- No Leaks At All Now! There are only a few things that we know about that still need to be fixed on the motor home. 1st- the Kohler generator runs but needs to have a few kinks worked out of it. We have the parts needed to get it going but have not had the time to work on it. We will either fix it for the new buyer or can just give them the parts and take a little off of the price. 2nd- After repairing the roof leaks and rebuilding the interior ceiling we kept finding small drips around the roof a/c unit while it was on so we had to pull the ceiling paneling down (several times) to find where the dripping was coming from. We finally found the problem and fixed it but 2 or 3 of the ceiling panels will need to be replaced.We did not want to do so until we were sure the dripping problem was fixed. It is stapled and taped back in place right now but again we will fix it or take $100 off of the price if you want to do it yourself. We used the a/c for 2 days this weekend and it was totally dry inside. Otherwise we are unaware of any other problems it may have. The water heater, water pump, toilet, microwave, stove/oven, fridge, furnace all seem to work fine. We had no problems with anything during our camping trip! This is a 26 year old motor home so it does have some other things that could use updating etc. but with everything we have done to it, it is well on its way. I feel the price we are asking is VERY fair and are a bit flexible with it regarding the generator and ceiling but otherwise the price is pretty firm. I have stated everything I can think of regarding what we know about the rv and believe in being upfront and honest when selling something.
