2013 Emerald Tiny. Contemporary tiny home built on dual axle auto-transport trailer with electric assist brakes on all four wheels. We designed this one to meet the needs of just about any homeowner. Home is 19'6"X 8' inside total height 13' 5" to allow transport. Nothing was left out in this home from the trailer up. Windows are all double pane low-e by Jeldwen. Home was built to meet current residential building code except foundation because it is on a trailer. Roof is steel with ice dam material underneath to prevent all possibilities of leakage and is set up for gutters if wanted. Electricity was setup to run not only 12 volt but on a 120 volt circuit as well. Has electrical conversion box as well as batteries for 12 volt storage. Lights throughout run on the 12 volt and outlets and refrigerator/freezer on 120 volt. Large 3 burner stove and oven tankless water heater and furnace runs off two medium sized propane bottles. Kitchen was designed for the cook at heart with Corian counter tops large deep single sink with pull-out facet to fill those pans. Extra surface area was created for preparation work with more drawer space underneath. There is plenty of room under the sink for more than one trash can for those who love to recycle. Another large drawer is positioned under the propane RV stove and oven. A built in open pantry was designed for more than just spices but for larger box items and cans with easy visual access. Over the 12" furnace space is two deep drawer with a large half height closet for clothes and other things. The bathroom was designed to allow space for endlessly long showers with a large square unit with fan vent. The dual flush toilet is opposite with a storage cabinet overhead. An outlet was placed in the bathroom as well. When the bathroom door and window are open a nice cross breeze occurs. Our loft has unique sidewalls of 12" for extra storage space around a king size opening for a mattress. There are overhead lights up there as well with switches within easy reach and outlets for other plug in items. The ladder will be built with safety in mind with grab bars to prevent falls. The window in the loft is large and can act as a fire escape. The living and dining area are open to cathedral ceilings and the light bounces off the light pine 6" tongue and groove plank walls. The floor is covered in a very durable vinyl that will last a lifetime. We tried our best to design this home to energy efficient without sacrificing comfort. This is just one of many we hope to build. It may be one of the smallest but it is sure going to be hard to let go without living in it!
