PRICE REDUCED SELLING BELOW NADA BOOK VALUE! For sale is this nice, clean, reliable, and comfortable 1996 Coachman Mirada. We are the third owners of this motorhome. We have owned the RV for one year and have really enjoyed the comfort and reliability it has offered our family. We are selling it simply because our needs have changed. We actually hate to part with this RV and we have built many great memories camping this past year. The RV sets on a GMC Chassie and is powered by the strong and reliable Chevy 454 v8 engine. The current mileage is just over 67,000. This past year we stayed at many of the Indiana State Parks and Campgrounds. We also took it on two trips to Ohio and one trip all the way over the smokies into North Carolina. The RV has had a complete brake overhaul on all four wheels to include new calipers and pads. I wanted that project completed before we went over the Smokies last year. The RV rode and handled well the entire trip. The tires have been balanced and there is plenty of good tread left on them and no dry rotting. The RV Chassie was given a complete lube job, u-joint replacement and carrier bearing replacement, and an overall inspection by a certified ASA mechanic in May of 2013. The RV has a BRAND NEW Atwood 6 gallon propane water heater that has only been used once since installed in April 2014. I placed a BRAND NEW Exide starting battery in the unit on 5/14/2014. You can buy this motorhome today and drive it straight to your favorite RV park to start camping. It is ROAD READY and just needs a new owner. The unit is clean inside and out. Any issues that were noticed with the RV when we purchased it have been addressed and this RV is road ready and just needs a new owner There are too many features to list but here are a few: Queen size walk around bed in rear bedroom, 100 gallon fresh water tank, dual electric/gas fridge, 4 person dinette table that makes a bed, jake knife couch, side facing belted seat to the right of entry door, driver and co-driver seats swivel, 3 burner gas stove/oven, 2 tub sink, stand up shower, lots of overhead basement storage, two over head AC units, 30amp service, and quality blinds throughout the RV. There are two known issues with the RV. The first is the Onan generator. When it starts it runs fine, but will not recover to set RPM once a heavy electrical load is placed on the unit. It really has not been an issue for us as we do not camp very often at parks without 30amp service. According to our mechanic a good tune up would most likely solve any issues. Secondly the jack knife couch does have some fabric that has torn. We have simply put a quilt over the couch at this point to protect it from further damage. I have taken these issues into account with the pricing. The unit shows average wear a tear for a unit of this age. The decals do show some cracking/fading and their is minor delimitation of a few panels. The exterior will buff out to a nice shine and the decals will too. I personally waxed and buffed the RV last summer and it looks really nice. The unit has been unwinterized, will receive a good washing, and will be used until we sell it. There are no known water leaks throughout this unit. Feel free to message me with questions. Serious inquiries only! Thanks for considering this RV in your search. Buyer will assume all transportation cost. Pick up only! THE RV IS BEING SHOWN LOCALLY AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO STOP THIS POSTING SHOULD A LOCAL BUYER BECOME AVAILABLE PRIOR TO A "BUY IT NOW SALE" OR ACCEPTABLE OFFER HAS BEEN PLACED. Thanks for shopping,Paul
