This is very similar to the current Marlin III craft sold by British hovercraft in Europe and Hoverstream in the US. This was a Marlin craft built by Flying fish and sold to me by ProHover (a dealer in Florida at the time) under the Lightning SXH37 name. This was their top of the line craft at that time, with a full light package to include headlights, navigation lights, a 12 V adapter, and a flashing beacon. There is a bilge pump in the internal plenum area, and a working hour meter showing around 100 hours now. The engine has not been run that entire time, as anytime the electrical system is active (for cleanup, pump operation, lights, etc.) the hour meter registers time. The 4 cycle 2 cylinder 37 hp Briggs and Stratton engine has been maintained with oil and air filter changes as recommended in the owners manual. There is an internal 6 gallon stainless steel gas tank that was replaced before it was sold to me (hence the non-working fuel gauge). This engine is actually just a large lawnmower engine, with a belt driven fan that provides lift and thrust. Very simple, low maintenance. A trailer is provided with the craft. This was a $2000 option at the time of purchase, and still is today. It has been garage kept for the entire time that I have had it. Please look at the pictures for a good idea of condition. Craft is sold As - Is, with no warranty or return privileges. Please ask your questions before you buy. Spares consists of extra skirts, cable ties, P clips, and any oil or air filters that I still have on hand at the time of purchase. Filters can be purchased at lawn mower equipment stores, or on-line. As equipped new sells for about $26,000 on the hoverstream web site. To quote Jeremy Clarkson of the British show Top Gear, hovercraft are "THE most fun you can have with an engine!" Traverse over land, mud, sand, water, snow, ice, etc. You can go over almost anything relatively flat. Some have even been specifically built to use as mine detecting vehicles in war ravaged countries. That is NOT something that I want to try. A really interesting side note is the fun you can have "flying" slowly up to the boat ramp, then driving right on up into the parking lot and stopping beside your trailer. That one NEVER gets old and always draws a crowd. In fact, almost anywhere I take this craft I draw a crowd and have to explain to people what it is they are seeing. Many have never seen a hovercraft in real life and find it hard to believe that this can really float above the ground or water. You might as well make an offer. I might accept it!
