2008 Skamper Kodiak Absolutely the most practical camper you will ever see. Yes, you are seeing a toy hauler on the front, 8'x8' which will haul 2,000 pounds. Haul your golf cart, four wheeler, Harley, or whatever brings you joy and happiness (except for your wife and kids, keep them in the vehicle with you). The camper weights just around 5,300 pounds. The total gross vehicle weight could be 7,300 pounds. I pull this camper with my Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with a 5.3 liter V8, it has no issues pulling it at all. This camper also has an 18'' slide out which allows for extra room in the camper. It can sleep 8 comfortably. All appliances work with no issues. The black holding tank (sewage) has been taken out and replaced with a portable 35 gallon holding tank. I modified it where the toilet connects directly to a 35 gallon portable tank which makes it super easy to empty and clean. Unlike the horrible process of trying to empty and clean out the previous black tank. You will also appreciate this feature when its time to pack up and go home. You can go empty the tank while your significant other is back at the camper getting things ready. The grey tank is still connected to the camper. No leaks anywhere in the camper. 6 gallon water heater will work on electricity or propane. Comes with air conditioner (had to run it on low for a full week at Myrtle Beach because the air was so cold coming out), and furnace (camped in February in Greenwood, SC very warm inside and freezing outside). I will include the following with the purchase of this camper: 35 gallon portable holding tank with all connections, dehumidifier (A true must for Hybrid Campers), and the cover seen in the pictures. I have also wired a switch for DirecTV slim line dish. HD all the way!!! I will only include the connections, not the dish, tripod, or receiver. If you don't want satellite TV, it still has the HD television antenna on the top, or can connect up to local cable TV. The price is extremely firm, there are no exceptions.
