We are selling our 2003 Skyline Camping Trailer. This is the Park Model which means it is intended to be setup on a permanent site. It is 40' rear to tongue and has two slide outs. There is a lot of room inside and was our home while we built our home. The trailer could use finish work and should be considered a project. That said we did live in it just the way it is. We (and the trailer!) are located way up north in Caribou, ME, google zip code 04736, please be sure you understand just how far away we are before you commit to purchase the trailer. Specifically the trailer needs the floors finished. The prior owner pulled out all of the carpets and painted the floors which epoxy porch paint which works great because wet feet do not hurt the floors. The floors are solid not spongy or rotten. It would also need the bathroom sink faucet replaced and hooked up but we didn't as we just used the tub. This camper is great because it has a full size tub, fridge and oven. There are really two bedrooms but there is only one bed. I believe the front room is intended to have a sleeper sofa and function as a living room/ bedroom. It did not have beds when I bought it so I build a platform for a queen in the back and we had the two kids in their full size cribs in the front at the time. The outside steps also need to be replaced but again we did not because we just used wooden stairs for access (you would need a set, they not come with it. The other major point is that if you wish to have furnace heat you will need to put a new furnace in it. It was not any good when I got the trailer and instead of replacing it I bought a point of use hot water heater that is electric and then we used two space heaters to heat the interior. I thought it was safer and cheaper than propane in a trailer with kids inside a building. For hot water we purchased (and is included) a 6 gallon point of use electric hot water heater that works good but is a little short on time of hot water. 3-4 minutes in the shower you get cold water! The roof is tight, one piece vinyl (EPDM) which the last owner put on about 6 years ago. For the 11 months we lived in it the roof was tight and I have never seen water coming in. There is some slight old water signs on a small portion of the roof. Which is from before the roof was replaced. It does need one skylight dome replaced (the clear cover on top). The underbelly is well insulated and covered in a waterproof liner which is 98% intact. I just put a brand new tongue jack on it. You will need at least a 3/4 ton truck to pull although a one ton is better. The hitch is a 2-5/16 ball with 7 blade electrical. I easily pulled it back over 1000 miles with my single wheel 1 ton with no problem. I have added interior pics so you can see what you will be getting, but please do not expect a brand new $30,000 trailer for $2,000! This trailer would be excellent for a hunting cabin setup, temporary home, office trailer or even permanent camping location. There are three holding tanks for sewer but not a water tank as it is intended to be hooked up to a garden hose type hookup although a water tank and 12V pump would easily make it remote. Lastly this was purchased foreclosure auction so there is no title but you don't need one either for a permanent setup. I will provide a copy of the bill of sale I was given along with a new one from me to you. The trailer needs a good cleaning as we just moved out of it and parked it. A good sweeping will make it look pretty good and a good mopping and wipe down will make it look great! The first through third picture is from when it was setup here and the pictured blocks, jacks and stairs do not come with it. The rest of the pics are from about two weeks ago with the trailer closed up. We have and have had an RV cover on it for a while now and while it protects it - a new one is in order because the sun has caused it to deteriorate. We really have tried to describe the trailer to the best of out ability, but understand we are human and may miss things that are of concern to you. You are welcome to come look at by appointment before commit. No refunds, nor price negotation will take place after you commit to buying. Any questions feel free to message us. Lastly we require a $500 down payment within 24 hours of purchase via PAYPAL and balance will be cash on pickup. We need this picked up within 2 weeks or the deposit will be forfeited and the trailer relisted for sale unless other arrangements are made. We can store longer if needed by arrangement only for up to a year if needed. Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.
