LAST CHANCE!! THIS BUS IS FOR SALE PRIVATELY, AND WILL NOT BE RE-LISTED AGAIN. IF YOU WANT IT GET IT NOW!!!!!!! I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time due to private purchase. All the work all ready done for you!!! Ready to roll!! Listed is my 1970 Ford BlueBird School bus. This bus has been professionally converted into an RV, by a college in the 80's. Everything in the bus is very well built! It has two bunk beds that will sleep two people each, and a fold out couch in front that will sleep two more. We have taken this bus across the country, and I would be comfortable to drive it anywhere!! Bus does not have any water, or holding tanks, but this could be added easily. I just spent over $3000 in the motor and mechanicals to make sure it runs perfect. My plan was to buy new tires this spring, and hit the road again, but other things in life have made this an impossibility, so my loss is your gain!! The bus comes with a microwave oven, taoster, can opener, Tv, air conditioner, refidgerator (NEW), and a 4 way counter top oven. The fridge and the oven are not in the pictures. I just put a brand new fold down couch/bed in the front, and new carpet through out the interior. Also the two chairs in the bus were replaced with captains chairs out of a chevy van. The chairs, carpet, and new couch are all pictured in the first several photos. The bus has roughly 133 thousand miles on it. I have a clear title, and it is registered as a bus/rv. So no special driver's license is required to operate it. It has a 361 Ford motor, and is gas powered. Cheap and easy to repair if necessary. Requires only one regular truck battery, takes a straight 30 weight oil I believe, and gets about 9 miles to the gallon. We never drove her over 55, but she will do 65 if necessary. We were never in that big of a hurry, and we wanted to be gentle with her. The only thing I would suggest doing when you purchase it would be to get some new tires soon. The oil was recently changed, it has a new battery, the engine, and everything mechanical works well on it. It is wired with 120v house wiring, and can be plugged in anywhere. We always used a heavy duty extention cord when we plugged in. We also had an external generator that we used when camping anywhere electricity was not available. The generator will not be included in this sale. If you want to use a generator with it, I recommend something 5500 or higher. we had a 6500 that worked very well for us. The last 3 pictures were of last year while we were camping. Also, there is a ledge on the back for carring a generator, and other items. The very back of the bus has approx 2 to 3 feet of empty space, which is great for storage, or one side could be converted into a bathroom. We always wanted to use one side of the back for this, since there is no restroom on board. The bus also has a front hitch for pulling anything, even itself out of the mud or what ever. And a hitch on the back under the "deck" for towing a boat or something. I will miss this Bus a great deal, she is a good old girl, and has served us very well in the past, she was loved and taken care of very well!! She took us camping where ever we wanted to go, and she took us on tour when we had a band! Terms of sale: Cash or postal money orders only!! You will come here and pick it up, NO delivery, I don't have time. Thank you for looking!!
