This is my 2016 RS trailers heavy duty landscape trailer. (7 ft wide by 14ft long) When I had it built, it was my plan for this to be my last trailer. Fortunately for me, my business has grown about three times its size in the past year. The size I had it built, I was planning on running one zero turn mower and one walk behind. I'm now needing to run two zero turns and one walk behind. I spec'ed this out and had it built in the end of 2015. It is VIN numbered and titled as a 2016. RS trailers is a company out of Missouri. Prior to buying this trailer, I did a lot of research and decided to go with them. They build great trailers and can build anything you want, all the way up to light semi trailers. I started with a base utility/landscape trailer, and added several custom features to make the trailer more desirable as well as much more rigid and heavy duty. I had a heavy rear duty gate built for it (rated at 2500lbs on the gate alone). It has a 2 foot dovetail, and the dove tail is made out of diamond plate steel. The fenders are custom Diamond plate with center reinforcements. They are rated to be "stand on" fenders and believe me, you can. The tongue is made out of 5 inch channel steel as opposed to 4 inch. It has an adjustable 2 5/16 inch coupler. It has a single brake axle as well as a break away system to activate the brakes if Trailer becomes disconnected from your truck. Immediately after buying the trailer, I treated the deck with sealer. When it gets wet, water just beads up on the wood. All steel on the trailer is powder coated, and is much stronger/tougher than paint. It resists fading much more than standard paint. Every single light on the trailer LED and is rubber mounted. I have kept this trailer indoors the entire time I have owned it except for when using it. This trailer has just one mowing season of use. There is not a speck of rust anywhere on it, and you would be hard-pressed to even find a scratch. I am incredibly particular about my equipment, and care for it very well. This is not a "mulch hauling" trailer. Why a 14 foot and not a 16 foot you may ask? Storage: with the trailer being 2 feet shorter, it fits in my building better. Maneuverability: it may not seem like it, but when turning around in neighborhoods and in traffic, a 14 foot trailer pulls much easier than a 16. I can fit a John Deere 777 as well as a hustler super Z on this trailer. There is enough room to fit two full-size zero turn mowers. Also, 7 feet wide as opposed to a standard 6 1/2, is much more convenient when getting on and off of your mowers I am pretty firm on the price, as this trailer is one year old and was about $2400 when I had it built. If you want to tell me you can go and buy a new Larimore trailer for cheaper, I know, go buy it and enjoy the quality you get (crap, compared to this trailer) I know you will have questions, feel free to call me. (270) 303-0317. I have absolutely no interest in any trade of any kind, when I sell this trailer I will have the same company build me an 18 foot trailer.
