METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED, Twin Bed Converts to King,
This 2011 Adventurous RS RV is the 3500 series
which refers to the length, 22'9". It is easy to drive and
easy to park. Mercedes Sprinter engine V6 3.0L, Diesel,
17 m/g dependable.
It has been exceptionally well maintained with TLC. The
generator has been recently rebuilt and has less than 50
hrs on it. The two house batteries (6 volt golf cart) are
new and can provide 3-6 days power depending on such
things as using lights at night. It is equipped with several rechargeable lights that can be used so there is ample power for boon docking. The bathroom is complete: sink, shower and toilet and have presented no problems.
Fresh water holding tank is excellent but you will need to learn to use dish water sparingly. The black and grey
water holding tanks have never been a problem. The
refrigerator is new and keeps thing very cold. The sellers says the tires are relatively new and will not need to be changed any time soon. The RV was serviced this summer so the oil, oil filter and fuel filter are good for at least 5000 miles. The seller has copies of all repair records. Most has been accomplished by Mercedes dealers.
The seat covers are very worn and could be recovered
but have not been a problem. There is seating for six
when the bed is up but riding in the back is pretty bumpy. seller leaves the bed down for the most part. It sleeps two very comfortably. The bucket seats can be configured to sleep another. It was originally build out with four bucket seats up front but seller took one out and built in a cabinet that provides additional counter area, storage area and, if desired, a large bed space for a dog. The front passenger seat can be reversed such that a surprisingly large living space/dining area is created but remember, in terms of space, it is a Class B. The radio is an updated Alpine brand with a new and better backup camera.
It drives easily. Seller bought it at 45,000 miles or so and have put some 35,000 on it in three years. We love it and simply are not using it sufficiently to keep it.
It comes with convection oven and microwave oven. We
have used both as we wished without problems. When
sell is boon docking the generator operates these
effortlessly. The air conditioner runs off the generator also but seller can not run both appliances simultaneously.
The two burner propane stove has operated problem free although the automatic lighter does not work. There is a water heater but seller has not used it. It uses too much electricity for the amount of hot water seller might need.
There is a complete "home entertainment center" so to
speak. DVD player works fine although the input light is
low and difficult to read. Seller put in a new TV and as long as there is a wi-fi signal seller is able to watch anything they want using a fire stick and sellers phone as a hot spot.
This is very good value for this RV.
Reason for selling is not using.
