According to the sellers, everything works as it should. There have been extensive upgrades and refurbishments done, and all of the service records are available. It appears to be in very good condition, clean, and ready to go. Stock #400220 This is a classic, Added A/C, new carpet and much more, must see! Adventures await! Alcoa aluminum rims for durability even on the spares! King off-road shocks on the rear, Fox off-road shocks on the front, and three 160-watt solar panels! Read on for more details! The Provan Tiger is a great camper for overland travel. The previous owners traveled to many countries overseas by shipping it to Europe, Australia, and Southern Africa. They traveled the Pan-American Highway as well. This camper is a self-contained adventure vehicle with 3 - 160 watt roof-mounted solar panels, 440 amps Lifeline AGM batteries, and a high-output engine alternator that charges the house batteries while traveling. If you find shore power along your travels, a 30 amp service and power cord are stored in their own compartment. The camper has an Espar diesel heater that uses the fuel tank as its fuel source. A propane tank fuels the water heater and stovetop. The Magnum 2000-watt inverter can run a convection microwave off the batteries. A new RecPro Houghton 9500 btu low-profile Quiet AC cools the camper. A new Thetford toilet has been installed in the wet bath. A 12v Vitrofrigo refrigerator/freezer works great. The driver and passenger seats in the cab had new foam cushions installed, but the original cloth seat fabric remains due to its condition. New carpet has been installed in the cab area. The Chevrolet chassis has one of the best generation diesel engines by Duramax (LBZ) and a reliable Allison 6-speed automatic transmission. A 34-gallon fuel tank gives a long range between fuel fills. A Warn 16,500 lb winch is mounted on a custom bumper, and two Maxxtrax vehicle recovery boards are side-mounted if you find yourself stuck off-road. The tires are BF Goodrich KO2s and are mounted on Alcoa forged aluminum wheels (including both spares). The front suspension features Fox shocks, and the rear has King Off-road shocks. A high Lift jack is included. The camper has two manual Fiamma awnings, one on the passenger side and one on the driver's side. In 2016, the original owners returned it to the factory and refurbished the camper by dismantling it down to the frame and rebuilding it to make it even better. It now has a higher fiberglass roof, improved wood cabinets, and Espar diesel heat. Removing the propane heater allowed fewer propane fills and more efficient diesel-fired heat. Other improvements included removing the propane generator and installing a larger array of solar panels and the high-output engine alternator. Extensive records of all maintenance work on the camper and chassis will be included.
