NOT JUST AN RV. THE WHOLE PACKAGE, INCLUDING TRUCK AND EXTRAS.My wife and I purchased a new 2015, 30 foot 5th wheel and truck to set out and see the U.S..  We succeeded in visiting 43 states in 15 months.  Not bad.  Now it’s over.  We’ve purchased a home and have settled into a routine.  What does that mean for you?  An opportunity to purchase a great, almost-new, RV and the truck to tow it with…and lots of add-ons. It is literally a turn-key unit, ready to cross the country.  All the equipment you regularly have to purchase comes WITH the unit:2008 Ford F-250 (3/4 ton) truck, complete with installed hitch and towing package built in. (Hitch = $3500)3000 watt generator (quiet type) with one simple plug that hooks right up to the RV. ($700)DISH satellite antenna (detached) and receiver. When you arrive at a camp, point it to the southern sky, call DISH to notify of them of the zip code where you’re located…and the receiver does the rest. ($600)All hoses and electrical connections needed to set up at the first campsite you come to!Rand McNally Truck GPS system…designed to keep you on legal roads and out from under low bridges ($300)Dual adjustable queen air mattress (Sleep Number type) and Craker Barrel quilt, replaces “prison” mattress, ($900)12 volt TV/DVR player installed in the bedroom ($200)Nothing worse than spending 20 minutes setting up in the rain…so we designed a simply one-click hook-up for both the water and cable/satellite. Also, no hooking up a pressure regulator, pressure gauge, or filter either…all three are built into the water compartment. DISH satallilte offers a program allowing you to turn membership on only when you’re traveling. The truck has a 40-channel CB radio AND a hand-held 40-channel CB that allows your partner to guide the driver safely into a campsite…or through a congested Walmart parkling lot! Some campsites won’t allow a 50-amp hookup because they only have 30-amp service.  Dealers will sell you a “dog-bone” to reduce the 50-amp service to a 30-amp plug…but campsites are saavy to this, and won’t let you hook up that way.  No problem. We built a thinner cable that with a 30-amp plug that is welcome at any campsite. You will find lots of other adaptations we made during our travels to make life easier on the road. With the ideal match-up of our truck (new tires, shocks and brakes), you will be ready to turn the key and drive into the sunset.
