1988 PREVOST Le Mirage XL40 Motorcoach - $45,000 OBO Just inherited this Motorcoach and do not have use for it. Just drove it back from Redding, CA. Runs great. Starts right up! FEATURES – Here’s what I know about the Motorcoach. (Have Owner’s Manual for the Coach & schematics for many of the systems/mechanics) Liberty Coach Conversion155,000 milesDetroit Diesel Pusher Engine (gets about 8-10 mpg)Oak cabinetry everywhereAllison TransmissionNew Oil FiltersDiesel Generator – Kubota D1402-B 4 cycle – 21.5 kwh (Have manual. 3750 Hrs.)New Tires - 315/80R22.5 (2000 miles since new)Custom Paint Job (Sunset & Clouds is how I would describe it. Fades from dark to light in front. See pics) Clear Title Since I drove it from Redding, CA to Portland, OR, I had it checked out by two different mechanics in California, before I risked my life driving it through the Siskiyou’s. The coach ran great. Had no issues driving and braking. The coach is mechanically sound, with 30 years of wear and tear. With a little sweat equity, this could be a gem! Here’s what we have learned through this process: Needs 2 new air conditioners – 1 works (about $375/ea + installation) Generator throws some oil and may need a new valve cover gasket (@$400) Electronics’ in Captain’s seat are not working (Harness appears to be disconnected) 2 Oak cabinet doors need repairs Upholstery is original and showing wear Window coverings are mismatched
