This is a 2017 Columbus Compass by Palomino, a division of Forrest River. We bought in June of16 and as it is our 2nd 5th wheel we wanted things this unit has that enhance the camping experience. This unit has QUIET AIR. If you look at the ceilings there is no AC unit hanging into the living space and if you've ever tried to watch TV while the AC in on high, you will love that feature.We also wanted 6 position hydraulic leveling, which makes set up a breeze. We wanted the Master bed (Queen) to slide out and have a large front closet that you can actually hang a lot of clothes in. Has W & D prep in front closet. We also wanted the Home style LG 20 CF side by side with an ice maker refrigerator. We also like the central vacuum system for quick clean ups.The moveable kitchen island is the nicest of features. We have moved it into the kitchen corner at night and put two queen air mattresses on the floor allowing us to sleep 7. If your good friends that is! The unit comes with a 2 year warranty and we have added a 5 year additional, that may be transferred. We had one decal problem since new that was fixed right away but this is one of those problem free units. Believe me all makers have problem units, we know from experience. This unit also has a solid cover over the awning that will keep it from fading or rotting while not being used. The last thing I'll mention is we have hydraulic slide outs on the big slides ( Bedroom is electric) which move and work so much better than cable slides. In fact I would not buy a unit if it has cable slide outs. Non smokers, no pets, throughly cleaned and ready for you to enjoy for about $10,000.00 less than new.
