Contact phone number: 330-759-7863 We are selling our 2001 Pace 40' gooseneck trailer. Taking a step sideways to a traditional rv type toy hauler trailer, and don't need to keep both units around. We used this trailer to sell parts at car and truck shows in the region. The truck in the photos is NOT included. Trailer is in excellent mechanical condition and ready to tow anywhere tomorrow, normal wear and tear cosmetically. Currently titled legitimately as a travel trailer, so all you need is a camper license plate, no commercial plate required. This unit has living quarters including: queen sized bed in the bunk, dinette that can convert to a bed, bathroom with toilet and sink, and plenty of cabinets. Carrier 15,000btu AC/heat pump is approx. 4 years old and blows cold air or full heat (not just a heat strip). Full size RV refrigerator/freezer runs on electric or propane and is about 3 years old, will freeze your ice cream. Also a catalytic RV propane heater that keeps the living quarters plenty warm on a 40 degree night. 20 gallon fresh water tank for toilet and sink, with separate gray and black tanks, plenty for 2-3 people for most of a week at the racetrack. Microwave, 12v built in radio cd player and safe are included. There is a flat screen TV on a swivel mount so you can watch from the bunk or from outside, with a dvd player, roof antenna, and cable tv hookup. Two 40# propane tanks under the gooseneck for fridge and heater. Two large deep cycle batteries are about one year old, new inverter/charger unit also about one year old. The living quarters are 19' and the garage is 21'. The garage is currently shelved for cargo plus full length e-track on the walls, but that could be removed if you want to go back to a car hauler. The 38'x15' pro awning from Holliday Canopies is included, approx. 5 years old. Awning is in great shape, no damage, no lettering, watertight and solid. 100% Sunbrella material. Full side curtains are included, which can enclose the entire tent, or can be used individually to close off any part for wind or weather. This is an all weather set up to vend out of, or work on your race cars, or a mobile party tent for your toys or motorcycles. The awning is set up to mount on either side of the trailer. Tent poles have their own bins on the shelves. There are three fold up billboards on the roof, each 93"x48" double sided, and those can also mount facing either direction. Currently lettered with our company logos in vinyl that can peel off. The signs come off with three pins if you don't need them. One sign will need the sheet aluminum replaced, about $60 per sheet from any dirt track shop. The trailer originally had 6 lug 5200# axles and a 15600# gvw. We upgraded to 8 lug 7000# axles and new cooper 215/70/17.5 tires (4805# per tire rating) and new 17.5 Alcoa wheels. This setup is bulletproof. Matching spare included never been on the ground. We had $3k in wheels/tires alone. Just weighed it at 12000# empty including 3400# pin weight and 8600# over the axles. That leaves 7000# for cargo to legal gvw (15600 over axles), but the axles are oversized above the gvw now. Tows great with a dually, we towed it with our Chevy 3500 for many years until we came across a good deal on the Topkick in the pictures (which is NOT included). I would not recommend trying to tow with a 3/4 ton truck, but is great with a one ton dually. It is currently set up with a fifth wheel plate because it is so much easier to hookup, but you get the original gooseneck hitch with it if you prefer that, 5 minute job to swap hitches. Known problems: the linoleum is torn up in the back just inside the door which you should be able to see in the pics (like I said, we hauled cargo). There is bash on the diamond plate under the gooseneck where I backed the truck into it, should also be able to see in the pics. Sounds worse than it looks, should largely straighten out, I just haven't had time to fool with it. Like any 10+ year old trailer, the finish on the white aluminum is fading, it needs a good buff and wax, I just haven't had time. There is no shower, which was not a problem for us as we were always at a facility like a fairgrounds or racetrack that had shower facilities. Sold as is, where is. Local pickup, no shipping. Delivery within a reasonable distance is possible depending on my business schedule, you pay the fuel expenses. I am here during business hours to answer questions, or via ebay messages. 330-759-7863, ask for Dave.
