Excellent example of a National Dolphin LX. Manufacture date says April 2005 but NADA only has this Model number starting 2006. The model was clearly available in 2005 in the online brochure link I included. This RV is fully loaded. Since purchase we upgraded the living and bedroom TV's to HD LCD's. Also the radio has been upgraded to CD/bluetooth with hands free cell phone. The camper was also upgraded with satellite TV with auto seek, we used dish network which comes with a DVR for up to 5 channels, and offers pay as you use it service. The chevy 8100 workhorse chassis runs excellent and has 340 hp and 455 ft'lb of torque. The RV is very comfortable and surprisingly easy to drive, anyone can do it with care. Original options for this camper include full painted fiberglass exterior, Onan 7000 watt generator (runs perfect), 30 gal propane, two 35000 btu gas furnaces, 2 ton Coleman basement mounted central heat and air conditioning (much quieter that roof mounted AC units), double door luxury fridge with ice maker, awnings for living and bedroom windows, toppers on all 3 slides, microwave/convection oven combo with gas stove top, Corian countertops, tile floor in kitchen and bathroom, ceramic toilet, full shower, Queen sized bed in master, plus the couch and dining table convert to two fulls. Sleeps 6 easily. Hookups installed for external TV, power main awning with wind detector, roof vent with rain sensor, backup camera with auto tilt, infrared night vision and sound, power digital TV antennae, trailer hitch, and tons of basement storage. Samson tires are like new with less that 10,000 miles. I'm sure I missed some things. We love this motorhome but are securing a permanant site at one of our favorite campgrounds and are looking into getting a trailer instead. I would drive this bus anywhere. We have done 10 hours trips with it in complete comfort. The National Dolphins were well made, well equipped motorhomes. Here is a link to the original brochure where you can see the options: :// /web/NationalRV/Brochure_PDFs/ For me the spacious rear bedroom with so many windows is awesome. The Central heat and air conditioning is also amazing - you don't have to use your gas at full hookup sites! Power jacks and other outside features make hookups a breeze too. We are set up and relaxing at the campground in less than 15 minutes easily. (The stuff in the basement storage will be cleaned out - I left it in there to show how much room is available). We bring a screened gazebo, lounge chairs, cornhole boards, grill, rv mat, fishing poles, and even two 2 person inflatable kayaks and it all fits underneath. Hopefully you can see we keep the RV extremely clean and well maintained. The fiberglass roof was cleaned and waxed last summer as well. Thank you for looking!

Hello and thank you for taking the time to check my ad. If you are in the market for a Class A motorhome, this may be of interest to you. This motorhome has been owned by my parents since they bought it brand new off the lot in 1997. They used it mainly to travel from Delaware to their home in Florida and also took it cross country a couple of times to visit my sister in Seattle. Other than that, it has sat quietly in their driveway. Dad's 84 and mom passed a couple yrs back so he told me a couple of wks ago its time to try and sell it as he is not comfortable behind the wheel of the coach anymore. I will be as informative as possible with ratings and pictures, however if you still have a question feel free to send it my way. I will rate things on a scale of 1 to 10 as to the condition of the coach as I see it. Exterior body- This coach is a 36' "Wide-body" and has always been outside but the paint is in good shape, shows some fading on the basement doors but they can be buffed out, decals are better on one side than the other (less sun exposure) but overall in amazing shape for an 18yr old coach. There is a small crack on the rear bumper cover-Rating 8 Awnings- Awnings are excellent. Dometic awning on passenger side (21ft) is BRAND NEW, was replaced about 3yrs ago when the original was snapped in a windstorm, replaced by insurance company and has never been rolled out of its protective cover.Rating-10. Roof- Rubber roof completely replaced in 2010 and in perfect condition-Rating-9.5. Roof vent covers- ok but showing their age and may need replacement soon-Rating 6. Tires- 6 tires nearly new with excellent tread-9. Tires on tag axle (last axle) have cracks but hold air with no issues. Coach rides down the road smoothly and effortlessly. Engine- 460 Ford V8 runs strong and smooth, no smoke, no hesitation, no leaks and less than 33k miles since new-10. Transmission shifts perfectly with no issues-10. Engine AC blows cool but not cold, needs freon-6. Batteries- All charged and in working order. Coach also has solar battery charger. All systems are in working order- All electrical outlets and lights work perfect, Coach AC units blow cold, Heat blows hot, water heater functions properly, pump works properly, stove perfect, convection oven no issues at all, power rain sensing fan works as it should. Double door refrigerator with icemaker A+, TV works but is not HD so you need a converter to watch it. Combination Washer/Dryer was only used a couple of times, like new. Rearview camera works as it should. Overall rating-9.5 Generator- 6.5 Generac- There is an issue with the Generator, it is flooding with gas when you fire it up. It probably just needs to be serviced, never had any issues but it has sat a couple of yrs without use which is not good for them. My guess is the carburetor needs cleaning. Today's gas leaves a lot to be desired.UPDATE- GENERATOR IS FIXED AND WORKING 100%. Interior- There is absolutely NO WEAR on any of the seat coverings, no stains, tears, smells, NOTHING they are like brand new. The carpet is clean and odor free but it has faded from the original neutral beige to an almost green?? like color. I have no idea why it did this but can be used as is or replaced with whatever you choose. The hardwood in the galley is in great shape. The Day/Night shades thru-out the coach offer black out efficiency for ultimate privacy and windows are dark tinted and perfect/all screens perfect. Corian counters thru-out look new, all wood, cabinetry and trim in excellent shape. Bathroom is spotless, toilet is porcelain, not plastic. Holding tanks always properly cared for so no awful holding tank odors... Overall rating-10. Basement- LOTS of storage space in this coach. Basement is fine with no leaks however the struts on the doors have seen better days. Some hold, some don't.- Rating 7.5 This coach retailed for 102k in 1997. It was top of the line with every option available. It is, in my opinion, one of the nicest used units available. If you live locally I strongly encourage coming to see it in person. ***NOTE***- Unlike many coaches which end up sitting in the back yard or a storage lot when not in use, this coach has ALWAYS been plugged in to an electrical source in my Dad's driveway. In fact, up until about 4yrs ago, the coach was HEATED during the winter. My dad still runs the AC in the summer when he feels its too hot outside! Bid with confidence. This is a terrific coach that will provide yrs of faithful service to its new owner. As with any vehicle of this vintage, it is sold as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied.
