2011 Keystone Cougar 278RKS, 2011 Cougar 278RKS, half-ton towable, purchased new from dealer April 2012. Beautiful unit located in Clarkston, Washington (across the river from Lewiston, Idaho). -Polar package means plumbing, holding tanks and dump valves are heated. Entire bottom is fully enclosed plus slide-out has extra insulation in floor. Sidewalls R-9, ceiling R-14, floor R-14, underbelly R-15, slide-out floor R-15. Literature says good to zero degrees--we have been in 24 degrees to 105 degrees and have always been very comfortable. -Super slide is 12 foot wide with couch and dinette and slides out 38 inches, providing lots of living space. When slide is in there is still plenty of room to access sink, stove, refrig. and dining table for meals on the go. Day/night shades throughout. -17 foot electric awning. Built-in bike/storage rack on back slides out as needed. Large pass-through storage. Manual rear jacks, electric front jacks. Added second jack system to front so landing gears operate separately, allowing jacks to extend on uneven ground. -Length: 28 feet 9 inches. Height with A/C: 11 feet 8 inches. Width: 8 feet. Hitch weight 1,260 lbs., dry weight 7,196 lbs., cargo capacity 2,864 lbs. -60 gallons propane (2 tanks), 60 gallons fresh water, 76 gallons gray water (38 gallon tank for kitchen, 38 gallon tank for bathroom), 38 gallon black water with tank flush/sprayer. 30,000 BTU furnace, 13,500 BTU A/C. Both furnace and A/C ducted throughout unit. -Electronics: 32 inch LCD TV, CD/DVD, MP3 hook-up, TV antenna, speakers with three zones, cable hook-up. Supposedly wired for satellite but we never used it. 20 amp 12 volt solar panel on roof to keep batteries charged. -Sleeps 5: Walk-around queen bed in upper bedroom. Hide-a-bed couch makes into queen bed. Replaced original air bed couch in Aug. 2014 with new memory foam queen mattress RV hide-a-bed couch (barely used). Dinette also makes into a twin-size bed. -Rear Kitchen: Raised panel cherry finish cabinets and refrig. front, microwave oven, 22 inch propane oven, 3 burner stovetop, double sink, countertop extends entire width of unit, full-extension drawers, pantry, lots of storage. 7 cu. ft. 2-door refrig/freezer. -Bathroom: Roomy house-size corner shower, porcelain foot-flush toilet, propane/electric fast-recovery water heater. -5th wheel Hitch Hiker double pivot hitch, ADCO winter cover and tire covers included. -We love this unit but just purchased a motor home so no longer need our 5th wheel. $22,900.
